“Fabulous beach house on the Great Ocean Road”

Fabulous location just steps from the beach. The Great Ocean Road passes in front of the property but it was very quiet & almost no traffic while we were there. Just the soothing & restorative sound of the waves. Would definitely come back! Mary was a wonderful, warm, & accommodating host!

We had a wonderful stay at Surf Shack! The house was spotless and had everything we needed for a comfortable getaway. The sea views were absolutely lovely, adding to the overall relaxing atmosphere. The space felt incredibly cosy, making it the perfect home base to unwind and enjoy the surroundings.

Perfect location for a quiet relaxing weekend , everything was supplied , great kitchen facilities , very comfortable beds, beautiful outlook to the ocean from bedrooms and main living area. Just off the main road but very quiet from traffic . Woodfire was such a treat too, house was really warm. Great beach walks during the day exploring rock pools and the beach is lovely for swimming too.

The location is superb - directly opposite Separation Creek beach and a short walk to the Wye River general store and pub. The house was even better than the photos. Super clean and with all the appliances and facilities you need for a great stay.

We came in winter (end of July). The view is just insane. The beach is downstairs literally across ocean road (which is quite calm at least in winter). You can hear the waves at night, just amazing ! There is also a fire place for cosy warm evening which I really loved. The house is also very clean and the bed really comfortable. It is all nicely furnished and cosy. There is also everything you need to cook, including a barbecue. Very easy check in/out and good wifi.

Absolutely clean, comfortable and cozy property where it provides you with a walking access to the beach and nearby walking trails. It has all the amenities you may need and there is a convenient store in a walking distance from it, in Wye river close to an awesome café and a fun play ground beside the river. It has a gorgeous view of the ocean from the 2 main bedrooms which is truly relaxing to see in the mornings and also exceptional moon view when it comes out at night!
