The hosts were very nice and helpful, the rooms and the bathroom were very clean. The place had a calm aura and was very charming. At the same time it was located in a nice area, close to everything. I really recommend this place!

Another comfy stay. I decided to stay on a whim, but the spots recommended by Nori were mostly blooming! Though there's no too many people during my stay, it's still delightful to talk with the people from around the world. Hope everything goes well for Nori and the familiar face I met again! I'll still come back if I get the chance!

Comfortable futon, nice location to walk around kyoto and close to subway and bus stops, umbrellas available to borrow, nice map of attractions available to study.

The owner is really nice and friendly. Bed is comfortable. The communal area is also really nice and a great place to spend a chill evening.

This guest house provides much more than a place to stay. It provides a home. The house is very cosy and has every facility you could possibly want. The host is extremely helpful and nice. He will also help in any way possible with your trip. I was only supposed to stay 2 nights but ended up staying 4. I wouldn't ever consider staying anywhere else in Kyoto ^_^ Also, everything is super close.. train station, 7-Eleven, cafes, restaurants, and much more.

It’s a traditional Japanese house located in a quiet area so you can have some real relaxing time. The host is super friendly and can speak good English and is happy to give you advice on your travel

Nori is a great host, the guest house is cozy and truly feels like home, it's neat and clean and in good location, it seems to attract good guests. Totally recommended!

The hospitality of the guy from reception, he showed me a lot of interesting parts of Kyoto to visit, and helped me dry my shoes after rain. The house is so cosy and warm, and traditional style. Beautiful.

What a lovely place to stay. The room was lovely traditional style and we even had a cute little garden. Great location, away from the crowds of Kyoto but still walkable to attractions and easy access to bus and subway for further away spots. Nori at the guest house was so lovely and welcoming, making the place feel homely. He gave valuable tips for our travel plans too. We got soaked wet through and he helped us dry out our clothes, even providing a shoe drier! Japanese technology hey! Clothes washing facilities were also great (and speedy), with plenty of space to hang our clothes.

The staff were fantastic and very friendly, the owner (sorry I’ve forgotten his name) was exceptionally helpful with giving information for tourists on where was good and not good to visit! The bed was really comfortable and the shared space was calm and relaxing. It felt very authentic.

Very friendly host. Gave me nice tips for the city. Very Clean showers and toilet. Bed was a bit too small for me but I am just quite tall. Price- quality wise extremely good :)
