Great Gasthaus with very friendly and accommodating owners. Breakfast was superb! The location is perfect for exploring different national parks in the Bavarian forest. We would definitely recommend Pension Schatzkisterl!

“Amazing stay with wonderful hosts”
Our room was self-contained which was ideal for our stay. The pension was very clean and had lovely individual touches to make it feel homely. Doreen and Martin were amazing hosts with good humour and generosity. They made us feel very welcome and most accommodating. The breakfast each morning was amazing! Again, some lovely touches…. Messages on the eggs and Martin’s crumb collecting car! Would definitely stay again and recommend to others!

“Amazing place in Bayerischer Wald NP”
Amazing place to spend your vacation while visiting Bayerischer Wald NP. The owners are super welcoming and super friendly! The rooms are perfectly clean and breakfast is awesome! You can also try any kind of local beer in a home-beer-fridge ;) Just a perfect stay, no more to say! We will definitely come back!
