“Gasthof Posthalter is a great place to stay when visiting the less-visted Bayerische Wald.”
The hotel is in a quiet, small town in the beautiful Bayersiche Wald. It isn't a tourist hot spot which adds to the tranquility. The friendly and helpful reception staff didn't speak English, which for us wasn't a problem, whilst the dining staff spoke enough to clearly explain the menu, and the food was superb, both for dinner and breakfast. It was an enjoyable, pleasant and relaxing stay.

The Posthalter hotel was excellent value for money. The staff the food and cleanliness was excellent and I will not hesitate to book this hotel on my return visit in September.

“Well equipped hotel in the center of Zwiesel”
A well equipped hotel located in the center of Zwiesel. The staff is kind and friendly. The room was cozy and very spacious for its price. In addition, the guest card (Nationalpark-Card) issued by the hotel is valid as a public transportation ticket near Zwiesel (railway and bus). I was able to save 24 Euros during my stay.

The hotel is very nice. Great location in the centre of the town. The complimentary train ticket for Waldbahn for the duration of my stay was much appreciated. The staff were very nice and friendly.
