Guests can explore the nearby Grosser Arber Mountain. In winter, a free ski lift goes from Hotel Bavaria to a 400-metre ski run which is ideal for children and beginners. There is a direct bus to the Grosser Arber ski resort. There are many cross-country ski trails locally.

The place is wonderful, with a beautiful hiking trail running right behind the property. The breakfast was delicious and offered a great variety of options. Everyone who works there is incredibly friendly and welcoming. I will definitely come back.
