“Nice hotel”

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel, perfect for my needs. The room was as I expected, clean with a comfortable bed. However, the highlight of my experience was the exceptional service, especially from Maria at Reception. His dedication and kindness truly made the difference.

“WARNING: Unauthorized credit card charges and illegal filming”

STAY AWAY! This hotel is a nightmare for your privacy and your wallet. After we checked out, they took it upon themselves to charge our credit card without permission for a breakfast we never even had. Instead of fixing their mistake, the owner doubled down. The most disturbing part: In their response to my bank, they openly admitted to using hidden cameras in the breakfast room to spy on guests' consumption. Not only is this a creepy invasion of privacy, but it’s also illegal under Belgian law as there were no signs or warnings about being filmed. Using security cameras - which should be for safety - just to "prove" someone had a coffee is completely disproportionate and shady. The respective authorities have been informed. They have no signed receipts, just illegal footage of God knows who. Save yourself such stress: book somewhere else where they don’t help themselves from your account or film you without your knowledge.

A very welcoming place. Staff were incredibly helpful. Room was very comfortable, and the ac was very welcome in the heat. Bed was extremely comfortable, and the bathroom was good. The whole hotel was extremely clean, and a good outdoor seating area. Breakfast, was varied, and again good quality. Highly recommended

Fabulous! The staff at the hotel were so incredibly helpful and accommodating- we had a major issue on our way there, they couldnt have been more helpful, and so kind. The room was perfect, and the bed was amazingly comfortable. The breakfast was lovely too. Thank you Hotel Monika, you made a terrible journey so much better.

Only a ten minute drive off the motorway, so a good location. Very friendly young owners. The room was very comfortable. Dinner was excellent, we had the three course set menu, which was delicious. Breakfast was very good with a good choice. A very pleasant overnight stay.

Easy access with plenty of parking at the rear of the hotel, very friendly couple running the place. Rooms are a little dated but clean. French windows to the public terrace, could be noisy in summertime. Comfy beds, small fridge, tv with commercial channels. Good food and drinks at the restaurant.
