The location and the in house restaurant are great! Good fresh food, friendly and helpfull staff, clean hotel with a very nice view on the Mediterranean Sea.

“Lovely Boutique Hotel”

Deep Blu Boutique is a fantastic little hotel. The staff are all super hospitable and everything in the rooms was spotless and in great condition. The location is beautiful, with stunning views and the restaurant on site was the best we visited in Malta. The location is right at the departure point for the popular Blue Grotto boat trips and is a 2 minute drive from famous archeological sights. Even though its 10-15 mins from nearby towns and the airport, it really feels very remote on this part of coastline. We stayed for 4 nights and explored the island easily from here and I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

The room was clean and modern, the balcony with amazing sea view had the sun most of the day, and the hot tub was a great place to watch the sunset. All the food was exceptional, dinner and breakfast. Uros and Kurt were extremely polite and helpful, nothing was too much trouble and they along with all the other staff ensured our stay was perfect!

“Fantastic”

We had a 2nd floor room with balcony and view over the sea - fantastic. The hot tub was a added bonus too - fantastic. The rooms are small but perfectly furnished , you can also appreciate the fantastic veiws from the shower , due to its glass side panel ! Staff were pleasant and helpful , nothing was too much trouble. All in all a fantastic stay

“Perfect family run hotel for a couples escape”

We stayed in late March 2026, in a sea view room with hot tub. Room is compact but beautifully done and very comfortable with good amenities. The view from the balcony is second to none, especially at sunset on a clear night. Breakfast served in the restaurant is lovely, with a personal service and kitchen made options to compliment a modest continental offering. We also ate here one evening and the food was excellent, so I recommend that highly. Special mention to Kurt for going out of his way to make us comfortable - opening the gym downstairs a little earlier to suit us, and generally adding the personal touch. I especially recommend this place due to the fact is is family run, supporting a local area. There was some redevelopment work occurring in the area at the moment, so first impressions can be a little jarring on arrival to the town, but do not be put off; it's very worth it.

We are absolutely delighted with our stay at this hotel and can wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone! From the very first moments, we felt truly welcomed, and the atmosphere of this place makes it perfect for relaxing and unwinding. The breakfasts were simply delicious – fresh, varied, and prepared with great care. A huge advantage is the option to have them served directly to the room, which is incredibly convenient and adds a touch of luxury. Mornings like this are pure pleasure! The jacuzzi with such a stunning view is an absolute highlight – it’s hard to describe how relaxing it is to enjoy it while taking in the surroundings. It’s the perfect spot to unwind and escape from everyday life. Special recognition goes to the owner Kurt – exceptionally kind, warm, and helpful. We haven’t met such a genuinely hospitable person in a long time. Their care and dedication truly made our stay even more special. The entire property is very clean, well-maintained, and tastefully decorated, with great attention to detail, which significantly enhances the overall comfort. We will definitely come back and are already looking forward to our next visit!
