Overview
Housed in a 500-year-old, Engadine-style building, this family-run hotel is centrally located in Zuoz, 300 metres from the train station. Local specialities, pastries and confectionary are served at the restaurant. Most rooms are en-suite and feature a TV and free WiFi access. Some rooms have access to a shared bathroom. The Klarer offers a limited number of free private parking on site. Guests can reach St. Moritz within a 20-minute car drive.

“Nice cozy "old fashioned" hotel at a top location”
Very good breakfast, nice location in the center of the historic town, overlooking the plaza. The train station is nearby (5 minutes walk) and when booking for 2 nights you get the train/bus card (Engadin mobil) with which you can take the Bernina Bahn up to Alp Grüm or visit St Moritz.

“Step back in time for a great comfortable stay.”
The interior design was like living in Heidi land. Rooms were set up well and the bike storage was excellent. Included breakfast was delicious with good variety.

Very nice and clean room and friendly staff in the center of town. The price is reasonable (for Swiss standards). The breakfast is amazing (they also have a fresh bakery)

“Lovely hotel in lovely village”
Amazing soft beds,.pillows and duvet. Beautiful wee village that must be busy in winter. Cracking restaurant on site and across the square, shame we only stayed for one night. Breakfast was so healthy and filling.

“I would happily stay here again.”
Great location in this lovely village. Clean, comfortable traditional hotel. I particularly liked the room with it’s traditional woodwork with carvings and plenty of storage. Friendly staff, good service. The bakery has a good selection of delicious pastries.

The hotel, with its Arolla Pine woodwork, had a strong Engadine character. The location in the centre of Zuoz was superb and the breakfast was very varied and tasty..

Cute traditional Swiss mountain hotel. Easy check-in (even though I arrive later in the evening) and checkout. Good standard buffet breakfast in the morning. Nice little bakery below the hotel. Good location to start a hike from (close to trails & public transport.

Wonderful, traditional-style room in a beautiful old building full of charm and cozy atmosphere. The smell of the local pine wood makes you feel like you're in a mountain lodge every time you enter the room.

Very cozy and nice hotel, located conveniently. Short walk to everywhere. Breakfast was with good selection of everything. Personnel was helpful and friendly. Excellent option with decent price.

We booked the "grand plus double room" for 3 people. Nice and cozy room, with wooden furniture, private bathroom, table and benches, TV, free wi-fi. Enough space to relax and enjoy your stay. We stayed also for dinner: various and tasty menu (for kids as well), very nice staff. We'll come back for sure.
