“clean, comfortable and well located”

I really liked the location-remote from town and on the cliffs, communication with Maialen was fluent and easy, i had good privacy in my room and homey feeling in the house.

Location was excellent. That was reason tp come over here. One family was there at the same time. We walked aroknd and I tooked plenty of pics

“Good but a bit confusing.”

Communication before arriving was poor. I sent several emails before arriving and none were answered. However that improved after i phoned up to give our arrival time. From then on it was very good. The room/house itself was a bit confusing; it wasn't really clear where we could go and if we could use the kitchen, for example.. There is a sentence in the t&c's saying that a refundable cash deposit of 2000 euro was to be paid on arrival. This was obviously completely impossible and wasn't put into practice anyway. We didn't see the host until the very last minute before we left.

Communication with the host and location were both excellent.

Location was great. Space was large and access to a kitchen was nice.

Amazing location a stone's throw from Zumaia beach and a viewpoint looking out over the Flysch rock formations.

The view was beautiful and the check in was easy. Maialen was friendly and gave recommendations.

MISLEADING! There is NO room with PRIVATE bathroom (bath + toilet shared with up to 6 people). A DEPOSIT of 2000€ may be claimed.The terrace is shared with the room next door. Kitchen use is banned. The entire property is in poor condition. Make sure to click on the guest comments to be able to read the 'non-likes' (Booking.com just displays the 'likes').

Stunning location! Spacious room. Host communicates well.

Bathroom sink drainage was “repaired”with duct tape, resulting in water leaking onto the floor.

Functional rooms close to the ocean

Location is exceptional and the host very easy to communicate with (also in English). There's parking out in front of the property which you can use when it's a not a weekend or holiday. The room was very big with a fridge and there were two bathrooms we could use so no issues there. There's plenty of local bars to get great food, and there's a lift in town you can use if you're not used to walking uphill.

The location though up on the hill was excellent. It's next to getting panaromic view of the coast and to the San Telmo Church where on a sunny day, you get to enjoy sunset views. Just next to joining the Camino del norte route or doing the challenging coastal route. It is really within walking distance to everything.

Location was near to the town and handy for restaurants. The host was great, very attentive and responded quickly. Wifi was excellent.

The location is superb. It's located 5 minutes from the beach and everything else is walking distance. The rooms were clean and homey which made our stay very comfortable. The hosts were also welcoming and friendly.

The owners of the house are a lovely couple and were very welcoming. We had a very enjoyable chat with them in the evening. We had the use of the lounge downstairs and our room upstairs. The bathroom is original and was shared with other guests. It was clean and the shower worked well. The owners gave us advice on good places to eat in the area. The house is located only a short walk to the beach and the incredible rock formations.

My room overlooked the cliff and the ocean and the beachfront was a little walk away down the mountain. Gorgeous
