“A good choice as a base to see the butterflies.”

Impeccably clean, the room was cleaned every day and the cleaning staff did and excellent job. It’s in a quiet street and was very peaceful at night. The room had high ceilings and felt spacious, a good shower with lots of hot water, all the fittings felt new. A comfortable bed with extra blankets for those chilly nights. There was a pool there too and the families with children really enjoyed that, the children spent a lot of time playing in it, which I’m sure the parents appreciated!

The staff was very friendly. I also liked the architecture of the hotel. The plants (especially the cactus) in the common area were gorgeous. The hotel was in a residential area, away from traffic, and I appreciated the silence.

The hotel is a little oasis with a nice pool, breakfast area and cacti. They offer massages and other treatments. The staff were very friendly and helpful, also with recommendations for the butterfly sanctuaries.

“A beautiful and relaxing refuge.”

The hotel breakfast was one of our favorites of the trip. The hotel grounds were beautiful, clean, and well cared for and the heated pool was very nice after a long day of adventuring. From the hotel, you can safely walk to a large market, a main town square, and a supermarket. The beds and room were comfortable.

“Perfect oasis while visiting the monarchs”

We came to the area to visit the monarch butterfly reserves i the area. This is one of the best small hotels that we have stayed at in Mexico. Very new, very quaint, nice large rooms, great wifi, and a wonderful breakfast. The main butterfly reserve in the area, El Rosario, is about an hour drive. There are also much more rustic and less touristy places nearby to see the monarchs without a lot of people.

The shower is amazing! The pool is also so nice. This is a beautiful little oasis in the heart of Zitacuaro. The breakfast was also yummy.

One of the best hotels we’ve stayed at. Everything was perfect - large and clean rooms, excellent facilities, beautiful decoration, attentive and friendly staff, excellent breakfast, central location, and free secure parking. Couldn’t recommend this place more, especially for getting to butterfly sanctuary.
