The building is a beautiful, refurbished house, one of the only surviving parts of the old village that worked the mine. It has a cute, rustic kitchen and lovely tiling in the rooms, which are pretty, clean, comfortable. The hosts are absolutely delightful. Friendly, and helpful, and sweet dogs too. It was perfectly situated for visiting the salt cathedral, which can be accessed via a path through the woods. However, be warned, the walk from town is up 900m of 2:1 slope. We did it once, and decided never again! There's a bus during the day and taxis are cheap (although some wont do the hill either!) So it's not a problem, but it's worth knowing in advance :)

I was for one night at "Venta del Espino". It is the perfect combination between close to the city center and in the nature. The place is great and has a very nice view. The hosts Beatriz and Juan are one of the friendliest hosts I have ever met. I really can recommend this lovley place.
