What a lovely place! Fell in love of this house and how tastefully it’s been restored. Patio full of flowers, cozy spaces to rest or have a cup of tea. Rooms are nicely equipped, spacious and bed super comfy. Staff is also very helpful and sweet!

I liked the colonial style architecture mixed with modern appliances. This made the room look fresh, inviting and restful. The garden is a piece of art with all the different type of flowers,bushes and trees mixed quite pleasing to the eye

Man at reception was super helpful. He got his 2 rock climbding friends to take me to see the Piedras de Sevilla.Perfect for me used to hiking in high volcano area of Panama. Needed machete and ability to get up and over rocks and under brambles and fences but got great photos. He also recommended a really good restaurant few blocks away. The lady who cleans the rooms makes a super breakfast and I really appreciated the hot soup as I was getting a bit of sore throat from dry high altitude air. Enjoyed jacuzzi and sauna too. First time to Colombia and did not know there was so darn much to see there of indigenous history and natural beauty as well as how friendly people were so that as an older solo woman traveller I never felt uneasy or unsafe. Thanks Boutique MR hotel!

Everything about this place is incredible. Perfect location, right in the centre of the gorgeous, lively little town. The interior design of the hotel is exceptional - with great art and sympathetic to the beautiful colonial-style building. The room was comfortable, clean and cosy, with everything you need for your stay. Even the bathroom felt like a little spa. We were asked to order breakfast on arrival for a time of our choosing, and this was cooked to perfection right in front of us in the lovely dining room next to the garden. Hopefully the lovely ladies that cooked for us will get to see this glowing review of their cooking! All the staff were friendly and helpful with recommendations. The late checkout time was a real treat and allowed us to spend some time roaming the town in the morning before collecting our things, and I'd say the price of the room is an excellent deal for the standard of the hotel. If we're ever back in Zipaquirá, this would be the first place we'd choose. Thanks to everyone at the hotel for our short but sweet stay.

The hotel is perfectly located. Walking distance from old town and the salt mine / cathedral. The breakfast is impressive, with a lot of variety and freshly prepared. They even have a proper espresso machine, and they are happy to make you a stronger coffee than the usual Colombian tinto.
