My Sister and I had the most fabulous stay at De Molen! It is in the most perfect location to explore the beautiful City of Zierikzee from your doorstep. Parking (for free) in P1 allows you to walk into the City over the bridges and cobbles - it is literally 10 minutes. Super easy entry with the lock box after very clear instructions sent. One flight of stairs with a turn - just take your time. The Apartment was immaculate, fresh and welcoming with beautiful afternoon light flooding into the living room. Photos do not do the place justice - it's so much bigger and the views make you feel integral to the City. And yes, you can see the windmill from the bedroom - I will keep the Apartment's history a secret for others to reveal themselves too - it was fascinating to learn. The Apartment has everything you need as a base, as well as being super cosy for a relaxing evening in. Bakery downstairs is definitely worth an early morning visit, along with the Supermarket 2 minutes away having everything else you may need. Local cafes/eateries were fabulous - best ever fish and chips from the corner, RoeKoeKoe was phenomenal for a light bite, as too were the other recommendations. All in all, we had a fantastic time - 20 minutes from beaches and tulip fields along the way. Just perfect. Cannot wait to come back and explore all over again with my Husband.
