“Comfortable and great value for money hostel!”

Wonderful staff who communicated with me before and during my stay; clean and comfortable room (dble bed private), quiet, house cleaning (which I did not expect), excellent organisation of day trips at extremely reasonable prices and an overall lovely ambience. Also an excellent location..easy to locate.

People are lovely, hostel is cozy, nice bedroom and common area.

“A recommanded stay in ZhangYe”

A little gem for a foreigner. It is a hostel, so you can’t expect the comfort hotels offer but you find a helpful staff who speaks English and who will help you with your excursions at a much better price than the one you ' ll get with agencies. We ́ve seen the main attractions with them , including a 2-day-trip in the Badan Jaran desert.

We stayed in this hostel because the staff speaks English and was of great help for the excursions around at a very reasonable price (especially when compared to the foolish prices asked by agencies). We visited the Badan Jaran desert, the rainbow mountains, mati si, Pingshanhu... The rooms are very cheap and very clean. On the whole I highly recommand this place if you don’t speak Mandarin.

“Great choice in Zhangye”

The people are extremely friendly and accommodating. Everything is kept clean very well. The taxi service to and from the rainbow mountains was great. The rooms are nice and offer enough privacy. Great hot shower!

Location was good, close to restaurants and things to see while still off the main roads. Hosts had full recommendation lists to send out as well as great instructions of how to get to and find the place.

This hostel is the place to be in Zhangye. The rooms are comfy with curtains around the bed, the washroom is hugh, there is lots of space to do and dry your laundry, there is a kitchen, its really clean and it has a very convenient location right next to a food court. Its a great place to meet other travellers aswell, a nice mix of chinese and european tourists were staying here when i visited. But above all: the staff! They are superfriendly, kind and absolutly amazing!! They can help with all sorts of questions about the sights around Zhangye. Offering information about public transportation but also offering convenient tours. They also helped me with a lot of unusual questions. It was superhelpfull, thank you so much. I stayed here 6 years ago, very recently again and will definitly come back in the future aswell!

“Location, location, location”

The family room is great. 3 good sleeping beds, bathroom, great location, near everything, local food, etc, walking distance to everything. The owner does the day or half day trips to canyon and geopark, reasonable price. Short Didi trip to main fast rail stop.

“Perfect”

The place is a good quality for price deal and the service is great, really helpfull and nice staff. Thanks to one of the receptionists i could book a taxi at 3am. The place is well heated during winter and the rest is flawless. Maybe ask before if you have trouble sleeping on hard matresses but i personnaly like it so. Thanks again to the very nice receptionnist ! The minibus to Danxia Mountains is so cheap !

The staff were the sweetest!!! All of them! Helped me with my packages/logistics, gave snacks when we didn’t have breakfast, arranged our tours. They were all very responsive on booking.com message center. The location was superb - close to lots of restaurants and street markets/ shopping places. Room/bed was clean and very comfortable.

Very welcoming and helpful reception, really nice enviroment for those travelling alone. Ella is very aware of People's needs and very warm.

Staff are very friendly helpfully, organize our tour, good location, good price, clean room, comfortable bed and pillow. The drivers also willing to help us. The manager Ming?/ Forgot the name, help us to call the taxi and bring my backpack into the taxi. The taxi driver also helps us to show where the check in is.

The Staff help us for travelling in Zhangye. The owner took me to a local restaurant and it was delicious.

Staff was super friendly and helpful. They helped us book the tour cars to the grand canyon, daxia rainbow mountains and the grottoes. Super convenient and cheap. They even gave us free breakfast, while it was not included in the booking, i think it came with the cars we booked. They also gave great restaurant recommendations. You can do laundry there, bathrooms are very clean and vibe is really friendly. Location is great, in the middle of the center, Zhangye is a nice city to roam around.
