It's a family owned guest house. The owners are very kind, helpful and respond to requests kindly. The room i booked has a balcony which is very nice! Also there is heating in the air-conditioning so you can make the room warm or cold if you needed. Room and bathroom clean with hot water in the shower. This guest house is very close to the west gate, only few minutes of walk. West gate is not busy you get in fast and inside it's easy and fast to get to any other gates with free Forest Park busses, cable car (included in the entry ticket). In 3 days we visited the whole park's every corner. The owner's daughter is cooking fresh homemade food on the spot from a menu card, each meal individually priced. The owner helped us arranging car to pick us up from previous hotel in town as well as go to airport, he is very kind and respectful so is his wife. Though you need a translator on your phone or use wechat to communicate smoothly. Their WiFi is not so strong but we both had good reception in our phone's Internet so we didn't mind. Cleaning in the room is upon request if you stay longer, but it was clean to start with. I can recommend this place, if i need it again, i use it again. Just a kind reminder: this area in the forest park is more like villages, so get your shopping done in the town before arriving, if you need something more than basic or something specific. But food you will find plenty, everywhere.

“Nice, warmhearted and clean stay”

The people were very kind, responsive and caring during my stay. The room was clean and spacious, and had everything I needed. They even drove me to Zhangjiajie National Park each time I went and recommended a route for me to take. The inn offers dinner service as well, which was very convenient and tasty. They made me feel welcome and at home.

“Lovely homestay experience made better by owners”

This was our 1st time travelling to China, we were 4 Indians from Singapore and didn't speak a word of Chinese language.. Heavily depended on Google translate for everything. This homestay is cozy and very close to Zhanjiajie (Wulingyuan) National park West gate. The homestay owners made all the difference. They were this very sweet couple who went out of their way to help us, guide us to places and even arrange for taxis. The Owner drove us even a couple of times to the entrance of the park, guided us and he even picked us from the airport and dropped us to the city in the night. The landlady prepared lovely tea everytime, showered us with mandarin oranges from her yard and made meals both breakfast and dinner and was very kind. The people make all the difference when staying in such homestays. Their kindness and warmth will be remembered by us fondly when we think about our China trip.
