“Excellent stay in peaceful surroundings”

The location is excellent. Just a short 10 minute walk to the park entrance amidst greenery and a peaceful environment. Justin the manager was very helpful with recommendations on things to do. Food at the restaurant was excellent home cooked fare. We ate our dinners there for three consecutive nights and breakfast was varied and tasty. Overall,, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay with excellent hospitality by Justin and his team. Highly recommended for those looking for a peaceful and quiet setting away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

If you want a cozy family run accommodation, then look no further than this place. Justin is very friendly and professional. Willing to go above and beyond for his guests. He was very helpful with working out an itinerary to fit into such a short time. The in house massage was amazing after lots of walking through the national park. Highly recommended. The food cooked on-site is also amazing!! I only wish I could have stayed longer. Mary 😊

Everything! The best place I stayed in China. The location is great and the rooms are cozy, spacious, and modern, with electric blankets and super comfy bathrobes. But the real stars were the host, a lovely couple that truly care about their guests. I needed medical attention and they helped me getting to the hospital, waited for me, and even translated to the medical staff, helping me. My experience in China would have been a disaster due to my sickness if they weren’t there. Lovely people with a great heart! I cannot recommend this place enough. If you’re heading to avatar mountains you must stay here!

Excellent location near the entrance to the park. The hotel has an authentic Chinese-style interior. The staff are very friendly. The hostess helped with everything — transfers, tickets, and meals. The room was comfortable and convenient (three bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a living room). The free breakfast was filling and could be ordered for any time you preferred. Lunch and dinner were also available. Towels and slippers were changed daily. There were mosquito nets on the windows and electric repellents, though we never needed them. Every room had an air conditioner that could also provide heating. The beds had heated mattresses. Bottled drinking water was delivered daily. Each room had a kettle and a hairdryer. Wonderful experience, we enjoyed so much and strongly recommend to everyone!

The hotel is good for the position, really near the entrance of the park, you can reach that by walk. There are a lot of good restaurant around. the rooms are clean and the breakfast is pretty good (even if you cannot choose what to eat and they give you different breakfast if you are Chinese or not)

“Living on the countryside.”

Nice place 800m above sea level. Very serviceminded host that helped us with tickets to the National park and Grand canyon, even she did not speak english. They drove us to the airport when there was no Didi car available. Big rooms with ac. We had ordered a room with mountainview, got first a room that was facing the road, but since we were the only guests, there was no problem to get a room towards the valley (which actually is towards the neighbor). Good waterpressure in the shower. Good idea to bring your own shampoo/showergel if you stays more than one day (the toiletries are not refilled). Two or three restaurants nearby. 800m to the south-west gate of the national park where there are shuttle buss to the Bailong elevator (6km to the Bailong center, and then an other bus 1,5km to the elevator). The Grand canyon is about 50min drive away (80-100 yang with Didi).

Friendly, helpful owners. Fresh mountain air, quiet, leisurely pace. The laundry was great for compact travellers like us.

It is a nice hotel in the middle of the mountains at around 1200 meters altitude,next to running waters and near the Zhangjiajie park entry.They serve extra-ordinary dinner and delicious breakfast.The employees are very friendly.An absolutely must for everyone that visits China

The service is exceptional - Anthony helped me with transport and tickets well before arrival and gave me sightseeing ideas. The village setting is authentic and tranquil, with a couple of restaurants within walking distance. Popeye the dog is a star! So adorable.

Anthony was very helpful with National Park tickets (free of extra charge). He is very responsive. Location if good also. Rooms are authentic.

“This was the best hotel of our entire trip to China”

Everything was wonderful, especially the hotel owner and Popeye the dog. The hotel owner helped us literally with everything - planning the route, booking the tickets and even with finding a shop for buying a cell phone instead of one that we broke. And Popeye was very nice and as friendly as his owner. Separate gratitude is for the breakfasts - my husband is very conservative about his food, so some Chinese dishes during our trip were too exotic for him, but even he ate the breakfasts in this hotel with pleasure. Great view from the room.

This friendly and nice little hotel is just in walking distance to the national park entrance. The manager Anthony was very friendly and helpful, he speaks very good English and helps to organize your stay and visits of the national park, the “gate to heaven” and the canyon. He also offers pick-up and transfer, e.g. from to train station etc. Rooms are nice. Another highlight is, of course, the cute and child-friendly dog Popeye. Strong recommendation and thank you Anthony!

“Fabulous stay by the countryside”

It's very quiet surrounding and host Anthony is fantastic.. making sure we are comfortable, knows where to go, things all booked, back safely. We can wash clothes for free and bottled mineral water on the house. It's just 10 mins walk to national park, there's few restaurants and bars down the corner. An hour drive to grand Canyon and 50 mins drive to tianmen mountain.
