The host is AMAZING! She took such great care of us, feeding us, and the most amazing support in planning of our few days in Zhangjiajie once we arrived. Her hospitality was second to none, thank you! It’s also set in an amazing setting, quiet, beautiful and very close to the national park gate entrance which the driver will kindly take you to. The breakfast was huge and varied, a mixture of Chinese and continental. The evening menu was also great and well priced. The shower was hot and powerful. Aircon worked well.

Where to start, everything was perfect. Xiaome and her family are so kind and really make sure that your trip stays perfect from the beginning till the end. If we come back to the region we will return 100% without hesitation. We can only recommend either the bubble in the forest or the rooms. We tried both and they are both great. Very easy access to one of the entrance of the park.

The owner helped us plan the two day visit to Tianmen Mountain and zhangjiajie national forest park and booked tickets for us, food was really good, both breakfast and restaurant, we are really satisfied!

The property is located absolutely beautiful in the nature nearby the Zhangjiajie Forest Park. We loved the outside sitting area for breakfast enjoying to look into the forest / mountains. The host Xiao Mei is a lovely person that takes great care of her guests and is always there for some help. Would recommend to my best friend:). Staying in the glass dome was beautiful and we enjoyed the bath tube after a colder day in the mountain. The dome heats up quickly where there is sunshine but with AC no problem.

Transport pick-ups at the park's south gate and transfer (minus luggage storage problem) from the railway station to the airport after a day at delightful Fenghuang. Upgrade to an ethnic family suite in a peaceful location.And foremost, help with planning and efficient service by dynamic Siow Mei.

It is nestled away in Zhangjiajie and a good respite from the walking and exploring all day. Xiaomei was an excellent host and was quick to organise taxis, tickets and meals. The rooms are cosy and the surroundings are fantastic. Highly recommend this place!

We were so well looked after here! We were helped with how to navigate the national park, given lifts to and from the park and also to the shops when we needed! The food was amazing and cooked from fresh every time. Our room was so comfortable and the view of the woods is lovely. We watched a thunderstorm at night from bed which was amazing!

A wonderful quiet oasis, in walking distance of the national park, but set just uphill in the forest. There’s now a drive and Xiao Mei happily picks you up for free from the National Park’s South entrance. We got to try various rooms during our stay and absolutely loved the rainbow treehouse. The glass cube treehouse is more central and overlooked (and more like glamping than a hotel), but admittedly has the best views of the Avatar mountains. The traditional rooms are big and comfortable and have wonderful views! After I explained what vegan means, I had some tasty dishes and Xiao Mei went out of her way to accommodate me! Breakfast was good, with proper coffee. The hotel is run by a local Tujia family and set in traditional grounds with traditional houses, which makes it extra special. Highly recommended. We will stay here again next time we’re in Zhangjiajie! As to station / airport transfer, you can pay for a driver, which Xiao Mei happily arranges. It’s 120RMB to the airport, 150RMB to the train station. We ended up taking a taxi to the South entrance of the park for much less - but you can even get straight to the hotel: the concrete driveway is maybe 100m to the left of the exit of the tunnel, it’s quite straightforward.

No need for a guide, just follow the paths she recommends, it's perfect! Perfect place with or without kids! Ours already want to go back!

“A peaceful break in the magical Zhangjiajie”

The rustic cabins are set in the middle of a forest. The site is tranquil and beautiful with panoramic scenery. There was a children's playground, a table tennis table, a vegetable patch and a bamboo forest. The unique Chinese breakfast was delicious and prepared according to our tastes each morning. The best part of the stay was our beautiful and kind host and the rest of the staff. They went out of their way to make sure our holiday was smooth and enjoyable. They shared extensive knowledge about the national park, good routes to walk and local attractions. My children loved Xiaomei and so did we! What an incredible and unique experience staying here was. For anyone visiting Zhangjiagang National Park, or anyone just wanting a great place to stay in China, I strongly recommend you stay here!!
