Super friendly staff

“A great base to visit te national park from, and very friendly atmosphere.”

One of my favourite stays whilst travelling in China, the hosts are very friendly and helpful in planning out the days activities. A lovely traditional breakfast, I regret not eating there for dinner. The views from the room I was in were beautiful, with the mountains looming ominously a few kilometres away.

Wonderful stay! The room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was delicious and felt like a home-cooked meal. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, assisting us with attraction tickets, transportation, and travel information throughout our trip. What impressed us most was their support after we had already checked out. When we accidentally paid twice at a nearby restaurant due to a delayed WeChat notification, they helped contact the restaurant and arrange a refund for us. Thank you for your warm hospitality. We truly felt at home and would happily stay here again.

Delicious fresh home cooked breakfast every morning :) The property is in a quiet neighbourhood a short walk away from the main part of Wulingyuan, the walk into the town is lovely especially at night when everything is lit up.

Really nice place to stay in quiet area. The host Rebecca is extremely helpful in organising tickets, bookings, pick ups etc. Just FYI, for the family room there are no doors on the 2 bedrooms so could be an issue if you need privacy

The room was very comfortable and clean. The bed very comfortable and excelling bedding and the shower room was a good size with excellent hot water and strong pressure. The owners are incredibly friendly and go above and beyond when it comes to offering advice, especially for visiting the national park and planning other activities in the area. Their help really added to the overall experience. A nice bonus is that they offer free laundry, which is always appreciated when travelling. Breakfast has a limited menu and needs to be ordered the night before, but the food is perfectly good and does the job. The hotel is located a little outside of town, which makes it nice and quiet. Getting into town is easy and inexpensive by Didi, and the hotel also provides a convenient shuttle service to the east gate of the national park in the mornings. A special mention to the owners’ two children—they’re adorable and more than happy to practice their English with guests, which adds a really personal and welcoming touch. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area, especially if you value a friendly atmosphere and helpful hosts.

It’s rare to come across someone who cares this much about their guests’ experience. Rebecca made my time in Zhangjiajie so much better, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better host.
