Everything was great. The room was very comfortable and clean, the staff are amazing they're so helpful and the location is perfect, only a few minutes from the national park entrance and beside many restaurants.

“The best place we have ever stayed”

If we could rate this property higher we would. One of the best properties we have ever stayed in across the 30 countries we have travelled. Staff were INCREDIBLE, the lovely lady on reception helped us plan our whole trip to the national park and Ralph assisted us with amending our booking prior to arrival. They could not have done more to make our time here smoother and more enjoyable. The room was incredible with lots of space and all facilities were immaculate. We extended our stay and wish we could have stayed even longer.

Ralph and the lady who works there were both extremely helpful and guided us to picking the best way to enjoy the park. The facilities were also perfect. It was a great stay.

The location, the staff, the room size absolutely exceeded my expectations. The manager speaks excellent English, helped us book tickets to the park, and explained everything in detail. The receptionist lady- is very nice and also speaks English- welcoming and polite. The room is spacious and has everything you need: a kettle, glasses and cups, a hair dryer, air conditioning( also can open the window for fresh air ) . Shops, cafe and pharmacy few futures walk, the west gate of Zhangjiajie park ( avatar mountain) just 5 min walk. Very pleased with facilities. Bed is really comfy, good bedding. Thank you

Fantastic. The owner Ralph was very attentive and incredibly helpful with booking tickets. The receptionist Lia was very sweet and helpful throughout my whole stay. Without the team at Destination, I wouldn’t have had half as good an experience as I did in Zhangjiajie. The room was clean and comfortable, and very reasonably pried. Location is also a big winner here.

As per all the other reviews, Ralph and the other lady (whose name I did not ask) are jovial, extremely helpful and very knowledgeable about Zhangjiajie. Although certain things need updating but for the price I paid, I cannot really complain! On the whole my husband and I enjoyed our stay.

“Beautiful Setting and Warm, Thoughtful Service”

I truly enjoyed my stay at this small hotel — the location is absolutely perfect. It sits right against a mountain, and from my window I could see snow-covered palm trees and a little garden. It made me forget that I was actually in a rather large, multi-storey town. The atmosphere suited my taste completely. It was also very pleasant that both the owner and his assistant spoke English. This made communication easy and comfortable. Another lovely aspect was that this was practically the only place on my journey where I wasn’t alone — I met several very nice Europeans with whom I could explore the park together. The hotel also helped me choose a wonderful evening activity and even arranged discounted tickets for it. In addition, they organized a shuttle from the train station for me, without any real benefit for themselves — simply out of kindness and helpfulness, not because they were obligated to do so. A truly delightful place.

great location as in 5min walk to the main gate of the forest park, 10-15min walk to the bus station, many good restaurants nearby within 3min walk; staff is very friendly and helped us with buying discounted tickets also planned some nice routes for a 2-day trip; bed is comfy and shower is fine; ac warmed up the room pretty quickly

I had a wonderful stay and can truly recommend this place. The owner was extremely welcoming, kind, and helpful from the very beginning, even before my arrival. Communication was excellent, and he was always responsive and willing to help. Before my trip, I received great support with purchasing tickets to the national park and planning my entire route based on the limited time I had. This made my visit much smoother and stress-free. The hotel itself is perfectly located: quiet and away from the main road, yet very close to the entrance to the national park, which was incredibly convenient. I felt well taken care of and truly appreciated the hospitality. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

The accommodation is in a great location. The rooms are very clean and the beds are large and comfortable. The staff are super friendly and helpful when booking tickets for Zhangjiajie National Park. It's only a few minutes' walk to the east entrance of Zhangjiajie National Park. There are many restaurants and shopping opportunities around the hotel.

The location is pretty good and close to the gate for the national park, the staff is pretty nice and helpful. They helped me to buy the ticket and provided all information needed to visit the park. I had a very nice time at the Hostel.
