Avatar mountain resort staff first of all are excellent, they are extremely helpful and will provide a map to help you around the park. The location is excellent it’s around 5 minute walk to the mid gate and a short didi ride to the nearest town (excellent for the evening) Overall excellent stay would definitely recommend to anyone!

“Nice staff but disappointing location/accomodation”

It was spacious and the staff were very welcoming and good to communicate with. They offered a pickup from the train station and had a driver waiting for us which was nice.

“Cozy, value for money, luxurious, welcoming”

Loved the location of this resort up in the mountains and walking distance to one of the gates to the national park. The rooms are luxuriously furnished with cosy heating and heated floors. Loved the addition of shoe dryers and the bath was divine! The staff were really helpful although Google translate was required with some staff! Rooms were thorough clean and cleaned daily. Breakfast also catered for many tastes and serving times were flexible to meet our needs!

Wonderful staff, breathtaking location. Walking distance to Zhangjiajie National Park. Very relaxing stay.

“Wonderful stay at nature..”

This place was obsolutely blew my mind.. The photos dont even come close to doing justice how stunning this place is for real.. The staff were so friendly and helped us booking entry tickets to (National Park, Huang Long Cave, Baofeng Lake, Tianmen Mountain, Fox Show and Grand Canyon) .. They provided us one map and guided us each and every day of our tour accordingly.. The food at their restaurant was exceptional. We frequented there whenever possible,upon our request, the chef thoughtfully customized dishes for us accommodating our dietary restrictions concerning pork and beef... Overall, our experience in this resort is great with our two younger kids.. My gals love this place.. Thank you..

“Amazing and excellent stay”

Great value for money! Amazing and panoramic views, if you choose the suite option with Mountain View! The stuff is amazingly friendly and willing to help you with everything even they do not speak English! Excellent stuff and amazing resort to stay at Zhangjiajie!

The resort offers excellent exposure to nature and is located very close to the park entrance, which makes exploring the area easy and convenient. The reception staff were very friendly and accommodating, helping us with tickets and transport arrangements. Breakfast was good and had a cozy, home-style feel. The facilities are well thought out, with a pool for relaxation, self-service laundry for practicality, and a billiard table for leisure.

The staff were exceptional and accomodating. The property was clean, neat and tidy and everything placed in an orderly manner. The staff made sure we had everything we needed including tickets for each attraction, providing rides to and from the airport and train station, and were always eager and happy to help.

Staff super friendly and helpful. Also breakfast was good and set us up for day. Quite area n peaceful , near mid gate entrance to NP (only 5 min walk away) Room was clean n comfortable. TV only chinese so bring some entrainment or book to read or enjoy the peaceful surroundings . Didi to town not to far and shuttle from n too train station made stay more easy n enjoyable.

It was close to the gate of the national park, just 5 minutes walking and our room was stunning, with nice views of the mountain. Staff was very helpful and always contactable. There was also complimentary transfer which was quite nice as well as washing machine available at all times and the rooms come with laundry detergent.

We loved the location, views, cleanliness of the rooms. The staff were lovely, proactive and made it very easy to organise tours and tickets around Zhangjiajie.
