“Exceptional Matterhorn view rooms”

Great Matterhorn view rooms with very good staffs and exceptional location. Just 7-8 minutes walk from the Zermatt station and not in middle of a market. Also super clean decent sized rooms.

Very convenient location for skiing. Staff were very friendly and the complimentary happy hour refreshment was a delightful surprise. Breakfast was very good. The hotel is located less than 100 m from the stop for the free ski bus to various bottom stations. The wellness centre is well equipped with a dry sauna and steam bath - the steam bath is hotter. The fitness room has a full complement of dumbbells, an exercise bike and other weight equipment. Exercise mats, towels, and bottled water were provided in the fitness room. The hotel and room were stunning—beautifully designed, impeccably clean, and wonderfully spacious. Its central location made everything effortless, with restaurants, bars, and lifts all just a short walk away. What truly set the stay apart, though, was the staff: warm, attentive, and genuinely eager to help with anything we needed - Simon in particular happy to help even when we were pestering him for more drinks at the bar. A seamless, memorable experience from start to finish.

Our stay at Swiss Alpine Hotel Allalin was nothing short of exceptional and truly heartfelt. This is a family-run boutique hotel in the truest sense, lovingly managed by a mother, daughter, and son, and previously owned by their parents a legacy you can genuinely feel the moment you walk through the door. The staff were outstanding attentive, kind, and genuinely caring. You never feel like just another guest; instead, it feels as though each family staying there is individually looked after. Breakfasts were a real highlight: generous, beautifully prepared, and enjoyed in an atmosphere that feels more like a family gathering than a hotel dining room. Rich in character, with beautifully hand crafted wooden ceilings by her father that is throughout the hotel that give it a warm, authentic Alpine soul. Every detail feels personal rather than manufactured, and that’s what makes this place so special.

The view from the room (Matterhorn is just in front of me), the staffs are so friendly and the room is so comfortable. This is the second time I stayed here and will come Bk again if I am back to zermatt.

The staff were brilliant, nothing was too much trouble, the room was perfect. The location was outstanding - centrally located, only 10 mins walk from station but off the Main Street so in a quiet area.

Booked very last minute, delightful hotel in an excellent location, staff polite and welcoming. A good base for exploring the local area, magnificent views of the Matterhorn from my balcony.
