Outstanding service

The bathroom of the hotel room: after each shower water would collect on the window stool. You could see it damaged the wall (mold was forming) We had to keep the door/window open at night because it was getting too warm and the air quality was becoming bad.

“how to spend days when you are snowed in”

The team did their very best to do as good as possible in those difficult circumstances, as we were snowed in, the village was without power, but this hotel has a generator for most of the services. The roads (train & car) were blocked so there was no way out for 4 days... they organised a drink every night to make the prison feeling a very nice one, & tried fe to reopen the pool asap. They booked rescue helicopters to get us out of there, as the hotel had his closing aswell, on their own account with all guests really appreciated.

Mr Chantra Malorni was very helpfull to us, the ski room was closed at the noon time we arrived and he opened the ski room and helped us and found exactly right tools we need in few mins even it was not his job, thank you Mr. Malorni, you made our day. The location was perfect, very quiet in the middle of slopes

The Location is perfect and our room has 2 terraces , which we can enjoy the view of Matterhorn day and night and if you want to enjoy the Matterhorn , you have to stay here for at least two nights because Matterhorn always was covered by cloud . Breakfast is very good and all the staffs there are very friendly and very helpful .

Riffelalp is one of the world‘s great hotels. While skiing Zermatt in its own right is exceptional, the hotel adds a visual and emotional dimension. The spa, sauna, hammam, ice, cave, etc. is world class delivering the perfect conclusion to the end of a hard day’s skiing. The restaurants are fabulous, particularly the Walliserkeller, but most of all the hotel is distinguished by its traditional Swiss service. The staff take great pride in their work and nothing is too much trouble. Recommended unreservedly!

this hotel is located in a very unique location, with an amazing matterhorn view... the decoration of the rooms and the restaurants are very nice and mountain style chic. They are mostly concentrated on the 4 restaurants and the bar, with its F&B and the service..., upscale level..., but dont expect the same for the Hotel...., the concierge Mr.Marvin is perfect, he tries his best, even opens the ski room and helps to fix your boots, during 11am and 15 pm

Everything was brilliant, the property is located in a very pristine location up top, the porter service was excellent once your arrive at the zermatt train station, everything is taken care off. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful throughout the check in process, the rooms with the balcony had an amazing Matterhorn view, even the outdoor heated pool is magical & a must try during your stay. The hotel staff were polite and kind.
