“Amazing unique hotel with wonderful facilities”

Amazing unique hotel with wonderful facilities and friendly staff right in the heart of Zermatt. We loved using the pool, jacuzzi and sauna and dining in the restaurant. We also loved having our room upgraded to a Suite!

Staff were fantastic throughout, so helpful and thoughtful. I’ve never seen a hotel with so many chargers and cables! Breakfast delicious, great range of local jams. loved the pool and spa facilities. location exactly what you want, 15mins walk to Matterhorn glacier lift, 1 min walk to the two other main mountain trains. wish i could have stayed longer

Was absolutely amazing. We had our room upgraded for free and were extremely grateful with what we had been given. Rooms were spacious and very comfortable and facilities were amazing and clean. My partner and I were checked in by a young lady called Alexandra (we believe) who was incredible. She regularly checked in when she saw us to see what we had planned and how those plans went. She gave great advice on things to do and in general i formation. She was the best! Thank you for making Zermatt our favourite place 🫶🏼

The coolest bar in all of Zermatt Central. Lukas and Jeoffery were the best bartenders. They were so nice, Lukas even stayed late into the night to keep serving us drinks in the cigar lounge. The food was amazing, the breakfast was very solid buffet as well. Very good value for the price of the hotel. The spa was great and enjoyed how hot the sauna was!

The Hotel Alex is in the centre of Zermatt, very conveniently next to the railway station. Public areas are quirky and comfortable with some lovely seating areas. Every day the restaurant impresses with an exquisite, delicious and varied menu. Staff in all areas are absolutely delightful, especially in the restaurant and bar.
