Excellent hotel and staff super helpful and friendly. Breakfast was also great too. Location is perfect, right in the middle of the town.

There’s a lot to like about this property. It’s elegant and historical with views of the Matterhorn from our balcony. Super friendly young staff especially Bruno at Edward’s bar. I would like to highlight great communication from the front desk, Iliana. You’re superb! Completely happy with our room as it’s a significant milestone trip. Breakfast was hearty. We were completely satisfied. Loved the pick up from Zermatt train station and drop off.

What an absolutely charming hotel! Rooms were beautiful and so spacious! Close to walk or even hike anywhere. Breakfast had a huge variety, and what a setting! Staff were so kind and accommodating, especially when my daughter was sick and they extended the check out a little so she could rest, then organised transport to the station in the charming Hôtel electric vehicle. Was a gem! So glad we picked this hotel. Thank you to the team for looking after us x

“Extremely wonderful for our short stay”

The hotel was very central, and a quick walk up a slight incline from the train station. We could have gotten the hotel shuttle but preferred to walk after travelling on a train all day. The staff were so accommodating and warm, nothing was too much. The hot stones in the bed at night was wonderful. Our hotel room had a view of the Matterhorn and a balcony which was absolutely beautiful. Complimentary fruit and cookies were delightful. The bath salts were a welcome surprise too.

Lovely hotel with amazing views. We had a suite which was spacious, beautifully decorated. Exceptionally clean. Extremely helpful and friendly staff.

-central location -lovely belle époque interior -friendly helpful staff -we got a free upgrade to the arguably best suite with an awesome view <3 Don't understand why this hotel isn´t 5 star rated. Maybe the missing Spa that you can anyway use in the sister hotel. I´d come again for sure!

Everything was perfect, from check-in to check-out. No stress, no fuss. They assisted us with the transport from our car to the Zermatt car-free zone. Had hot tea upon arrival from reception. The reception team were so friendly. They also helped me with lunch and dinner reservations. The rooms were very comfortable and clean - we enjoyed the extra details added such as the bed warmers and fruit in our room. The location was perfect for us, within walking distance to all main attractions. Breakfast was great - really good selection and staff was attentive.

The staff were excellent. We were always welcomed with a smile and an offer of help. The room was spacious and very comfortable, with refreshments and toiletries. Breakfast was the best we had on our two week trip. We enjoyed using the pool in the sister hotel.

A fabulous hotel with the most wonderful staff. Big thank you to George and the rest of the staff - so sorry can’t remember your names. From the moment we were picked up from the station to when we were dropped off, we felt truly pampered. The hotel is delightful. Bang in the middle of Zermatt, the hotel has a lovely cafe outside where we had great lunch. Our suite was immaculate: romantic and luxurious with a lovely view of the Matterhorn. You can use the wonderful spa in their sister hotel which was lovely and not many people there early July.

The room was excellent, suitable for an extended stay with wonderful views of the Matterhorn. The reception staff both extremely helpful and courteous.
