The views are absolutely breathtaking—Matterhorn is right outside the window! The hotel’s commitment to sustainability is woven into every detail. I was thoroughly impressed by their brand identity; the TV features the hotel's custom workout routines and fascinating documentaries about the history of the Matterhorn. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. I will definitely choose this hotel again on my next trip to Zermatt!

“A fabulous hotel with a great vibe, very comfortable, clean and central location.”

Location was spot on, we did not experience the breakfast as we were up and touring before the restaurant opened.

“Nice hotel and new rooms but without a professional 24h reception.”

Unfortunately the reception is not staffed 24h and I forgot my room key after hours - there was one available at reception, and no one on call on the helpline - after an hour calling the helpline someone picked up and promised me to come by but never did! I ended up sleeping the night in another hotel room as I couldnt enter my own one. I find this is simply unaceptable service for €550.- per night (in an otherwise nice hotel, albeit with a tiny single room)!

“Stunning Matterhorn View and Excellent Location”

We thoroughly enjoyed the stunning view of the Matterhorn from our balcony. The location is extremely convenient—just a one-minute walk to the ski rental shops and the Sunnegga/Rothorn ski lifts, and only a short stroll to the main street. There is also a ski storage room conveniently located next door, making it easy to store our ski equipment.

Beautiful position and facilities, including the outside bar area, were top notch. A special place to stay.

The location is superb. We have a good view of the Matterhorn. Staff was friendly and checked us in right to our room. We also got to have cheese fondue at the comfort of our room.

I was really amazed how nice room I had. Even I get upgrade of room. I was one of cooles hotel where I sayed. there were beautifull view on matterhorn. I strongly reccomened this hotel as well shuttle bus has been managed for me to train station

Great room in dark wood with comfy bed and balcony. 5 minutes walk from the train station, close to Gornergrat Railway and Sunnega ride. Modern interior AND extra winter coats for free use during stay - liked that touch very much.

- easy check in - great welcome from staff and tour of facilities - foam roller/yoga mat, etc supplied to work out/stretch in room - rain shower is phenomenal! - cosy bed and window seat - stocked coffee and tea! Was such a wonderful stay at Hotel Zermama and can’t wait to stay again!
