Overview
The Hotel Daniela enjoys a very calm location in Zermatt, situated within a 10-minute walk from the cable cars and the train station. Free Wi-Fi is featured throughout the property. The rooms were renovated in 2017 and feature a TV with cable channels, a telephone, a radio, a minibar and a safe. The bathrooms are equipped with a hairdryer, free toiletries and bathrobes. A rich buffet breakfast is served every morning. Guests of Hotel Daniela enjoy free entry to the Gädi SPA (located in the Hotel Daniela - from 18 years) and Julen SPA (located in our sister Hotel Julen - 1 minute walking away). When booking more than 3 rooms the reservation has to be paid in 48 hours and is no longer refundable.

An absolute masterpiece of hospitality – Hotel Daniela in Zermatt is better than the 5-star chains! My wife and I had a truly magical stay at Hotel Daniela in Zermatt, even though it was only for one night. The hotel’s location was perfect, and everything was exceptionally organized and spotless. We are seasoned travelers and have stayed at multiple Four Seasons properties around the world, including Madrid, Lisbon, and the Bahamas. Furthermore, having personally worked at the Four Seasons Hotel at The Surf Club in Surfside, I have incredibly high standards for luxury service. I can confidently say that this charming, family-run hotel has absolutely nothing to envy. The attention to detail and world-class service completely blew us away. The entire staff was incredibly warm and welcoming. We want to give a special mention to a team member originally from Uruguay who assisted us; though we unfortunately forgot his name, his professionalism, kindness, and dedication were outstanding. Out of our entire trip through Switzerland, Hotel Daniela and the beautiful town of Zermatt completely stole our hearts. While the official rating is 4 stars, in my book, it easily deserves 10 stars. Thank you for an unforgettable experience!

We loved the location. Its a short walk to the restaurants, shops and bars. The views from our room were brilliant and the balcony was super. The breakfast was great and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful

Everything was great, the hotel provides a transfer to the train station. The reception staff was very friendly, we received an upgrade to the room. Excellent breakfast, relaxation area with heated pool. Ideal location for hiking or for a perfect day on the skis. Thank you for the perfect stay.

Has a nice room with comfortable beds. We stayed in a double room. We had a nice view of the Matterhorn from the balcony.
