The 2-bedroom apartment was modern, spacious, immaculately clean and extremely well equipped. We had everything we needed to cook meals, including a Fondue set, which we made good use of. Upon arrival we found a selection of complimentary pods for the Nespresso machine ( a wide variety of pods can be purchased from the Migros supermarket). The welcome gift of delicious Matterhörnli chocolates was a lovely touch. We also received a number of discount vouchers for activities and stores in Zermatt, including a half price breakfast at the famous Fuchs bakery. The day after arrival we were contacted by our host asking if everything was to our satisfaction. We loved the quiet location of Chalet Fantasia and the unobstructed view of the magnificent Matterhorn from our terrace. You can also see the Gornergrat train crossing the Findelbach Bridge from the apartment. The centre of Zermatt is approximately 10-15 minutes walk and there is a free bus service. However, this was not running during our stay in mid September. We loved Zermatt and had a wonderful stay at Chalet Fantasia and will definitely return.

We had a very pleasant stay! The kitchen was well-equipped with everything a family of four could need for cooking. The location was perfect — just a few minutes’ walk to the town center and the gondolas. Our vacation here will remain a fond memory, and we would be happy to come back again.

Haus Fantasia is not just a place to stay, it’s a destination. Beautifully appointed with all amenities, excellent beds, perfect location. Not far from anything and yet quiet and peaceful with a big terrace and unobstructed views of the Matterhorn and the mountains. My favorite in Zermatt and we look very much forward to our next stay there.

Fabulous location for views of the Matterhorn but a bit of a walk to the ski lifts. Very comfortable, warm and welcoming apartment. Good kitchen facilities. Comfortable beds. Nice clean en suite bathroom.
