“Balm to the soul”

Thanks to Mother Nature, Anja and Robert 'Pod tulipanem' is a place of tranquility and peace. Cats, dogs and sheep - I don't even try to write down their lovely and funny Polish names - contribute all the liveliness this rest seeker was thankful for. What a place. If you listen carefully, you here the walls talking. About life in Masuria. How it went a hundred years ago an how it goes now. If you like the simple warmth of a wood-burning stove, taking all the time you want for cooking and, in my case, preparing your overnight oats, stay here as long as you can. If you love hikes through meadows and forests watching deer, if you appreciate an unexpected tête-a-tête with a passing boar but hardly ever meeting another human being, nock on Pod Tulipanem's door. If you don't mind grey skies and earth colours around you, come by at winter time. Anja and Robert are the most wonderful hosts, each in her/his own way. They are very attentive and caring. If you need something they are there, friendly and supportive. In the meantime they go about their own business. Which deepened my sense of belonging. I have found a place I will come back to. Thank you, Anja and Robert for your hospitality.

“Peaceful, recharging and nourishing”

It is a very beautiful and quiet place in the middle of nature - A perfect place to rest and recharge. We really enjoyed staying at the place, sitting in the sun on the terrace, or just walking through the forest or sitting at the lake. There is so much nourishing that the area has to offer and there are hardly any people around, so it's very peaceful and quiet. Our hosts took really good care of us and were very warm and welcoming. It is easy to see that our hosts have a love for detail, which is visible in the house and all around. We would love to come back at some point :)
