House Zaca is located in the centre of Zavala, right next to a pebbly beach. All rooms are fitted with a balcony that overlooks the sea, while free Wi-Fi and free parking are also provided. There is also a large shared terrace. All rooms are air-conditioned, simply furnished and well lit. They offer a wardrobe, a small fridge and a private bathroom with shower. All rooms are fitted with a balcony that overlooks the Adriatic Sea. The nearest grocery shop can be reached in 500 metres, while a restaurant is available 100 metres away. There is also a pizzeria 50 metres away. A fish market is available 100 metres away. Guests can also rent bikes on site and explore the surroundings. Boat trips to the nearby islands and places of interest can be organised in the centre. The town of Jelsa is 6 km away, while Hvar is 30 km from House Zaca. A bus stop, as well as the ferry port, can be found 15 km away. Boat rentals can be arranged and shuttle service is available. Main Bus and Railway Stations can be found in Split, while Split Airport is 40 km away.

The room with a sea view balcony was really nice. The breakfast was amazing. We ride bicycles so we need lots of energy. And it was delicious too. The restaurant downstairs was enjoyable. There is a paved path following the coast line. A walk on a path is relaxing.

Zavala is a hidden gem in Hvar. We stayed 2 nights in Zavala and 3 in Jelsa, and I regret not booking this property months earlier! Unlike Jelsa, Hvar and Old Town this place is not crowded and there are not many tourists. The host is pleasant, we arrived a lot earlier, at 9 AM and they already cleaned our room so we were able to come in at 9:30! That was awesome because we were very tired from all the driving during the night. The room was huge, and the view from the balcony was worth even more than the value we paid. The place itself is very small, but not crowded, there is a lot of shade just minutes from the accommodation, there is no music, quiet place to relax and spend your vacation. For those seeking to party, this is not a place to visit, but if you are looking for crystal water, peace, and relaxation I recommend it 100%. Also, all of the staff is great, they gave us ice from the restaurant and Vine opener which we did not have. Great service :)

With great pleasure we give the best rating to this facility and the hosts. People (Mr. Frane and his mother Sanja) obviously know how to do their job. The restaurant is on the ground floor in very nice and quiet ambience, next to the sea. The seaview from the apartment is particularly beautiful. Nice people and environment, there was no "feel like tourists". Excellent experience, all recommendations!

Spacious, v comfortable bed, more a little apartment than just a room, mini kitchen with cooker, fridge etc, two balconies with different sea aspects, right on the sea - idyllic! Delicious breakfast, anything we wanted - Sanja encouraged us to make a sandwich with our leftovers when we were leaving. She and her son v warm and welcoming. fabulous restaurant, Stella Mare, nearby. We’d highly recommend it and definitely like to return. Driving to Zavala was a little bit scary (for us who are only getting used to mountain roads) but very doable.

What an amazing place! Spacious room and balcony with fantastic beach and sea views. Fabulous breakfast: eggs how you like, fresh fruit, savoury selection, local honey etc etc... The owners and staff are lovely. I had reserved a free parking place, which was vital if you have a car. We were on a road trip and our landlady so kindly did our washing, even hanging it out and folding it - so appreciated. This place is such value for money and we would come back just to stay here - for longer next time. The beach is a lovely cove with fabulous snorkelling too. We felt so at home here...

“Simply Amazing!”
It felt like home away from home! Sanya and Franco are perfect hosts, very warm and accommodating, always ready to attend to the needs of the guests and of course, this serene place. Wow! If you want a peaceful retreat, this place is highly recommended. There is also a good restaurant in the house. It’s 30 minutes away from Stari Grad ferry port in Hvar. And by the way, they serve a sumptuous breakfast! Will definitely come back!

Staff was very polite and helpful. Location couple steps away from the beach. Very quiet and not crowded place to stay (September). The breakfast was included in the price. We recommend Zavala and especially Zaca for anyone that is looking for a secluded place away from big cities and its noise.

Absolutely amazing!! Un-improbable!! She greeted us kindly, showed us around and even invited us to breakfast!! The best house in the area as it was just above the the restaurant and the beach. Other places are further from the beach and don’t have a direct view like the one you get from your room balcony. In addition: great shower, very clean, air conditioning, spacious, with a fridge and kettle.

A simple room but in a perfect location. Nice balcony right over the sea and the beach. A good breakfast was included too. Perfect for a relaxing few days at the beach.
