The barbecue area and the patio of the house gives you privacy and freedom. Zaros is not run down by tourists so you have a possibility to see a little bit of the everyday life. The gorge nearby is also worth visiting apart from wonderful southern beaches which are not colonised by travel agencies.

“Cozy traditional atmosphere”
Very nice accomodation offering a familiar, traditional atmosphere. The place is also clean and confortable, offering a great value for the money. It's a few steps away from the center of the village where you can find supermarkets, coffee, tavernas, etc.

“Great stay in a fancy appartment”
Great appartment for the price, lot of space and also something peculiar. There is a designated parking lot in front of the house :-) Location is great; Zaros has some shops that cover all needed.

A beautifully and sympathetically renovated old stone house.Tastefully decorated and fully equipped.A pleasure to stay there.Neighbouring villagers and shops friendly and helpful.Good base for many walks in local area.

Really great and comfortable place. Very clean. The owners are very friendly and give you some great advice. In the middle of the village, very close to the lake. Very well equipped kitchen with all the basics. The owners left us some crackers, jam, home made preserves, raki. Great for a family of 3 or 4! Even better than the photos, exceeded my expectations.

“We definitely recommend this house”
Everything was amazing during our stay! it's definitely one of the best houses I have stayed in Crete! Its a traditional house which is very beautifully renovated , it was super clean and cozy. It was a last minute booking in low season (December) so we really appreciated the cleanliness and attention to detail. We had good communication with the hosts about entering the house etc.. The location was also great as it's very close to the lake and to the starting point of many amazing hikes in the area.

The place was great and also the locations. Our guest were super nice and the house fitted our needs perfectly. We loved especially the garden in front of the house and the neighbourhood
