“A wonderful stay in a friendly central boutique hotel”

A lovely hotel worth more than its 2 stars. Felt like a boutique hotel. We liked the patisserie and had coffee a couple of times and breakfast. The staff were really helpful and location was very central but generally quiet. The rooms were up together and very clean and comfortable

Wonderful couple of nights at Hotel Sauce. The staff are friendly and helpful (thanks Antonio, for the alert that roadworks were affecting bus no 39’s route towards Miraflores station). Beds are comfortable and it is ideally situated very close to all the sites in the old centre. I thoroughly recommend Hotel Sauce and also the cafe below, which serves the most delicious, healthy and various breakfasts.

Great location. Absolute gem of a hotel. Spotless & 5 star service all round despite 2star rating. Every single member of staff serves with a smile & goes out their way to be helpful. Bed so comfy, shower great - highly recommend staying here! It was was our 2 nd stay & absolutely wonderful. Great pastelria at excellent prices . A valuable asset to the hotel Sauce Thank you once again.

“Cute hotel in the citycentre”

I really loved this hotel. The staff is amazing, the location is great, the fact that there is a bakery with delicious cakes and breakfast/brunch options as part of the hotel is the cherry on top. Room is clean and spacious. No sounds from outside because of the double doors. But the hotel is in an older building so you do hear the other guests 😉 Would love to visit again.

“A great stay, great staff, good bedding, new shower.....”

The staff are one of the main attractions, all so welcoming and pleasant, they are very kind. One downside, at least for me is the scaffolding outside part or at least adjacent to the hotel, it detracts from the kerb appeal, but not an issue when you are inside. It is a pity though....

“Good stay”

The location is excellent, in the Old Town, spacious room, for 4 people, we stayed for one night in the penthouse. Advantage that you can have breakfast at the restaurant attached to the hotel.

Amazing location, The on site cafe was brilliant and had lots of gluten free options and was really well priced. Antonio was brilliant and was in contact with us before our stay and made everything so easy for us!!

The outstanding aspect of the hotel is the staff. All are friendly and helpful, but of special note are Maribel, Antonio and Emilio. I was given a free upgrade (sssh!) from a tiny single room to double room with balcony. The double glazing for the balcony room is amazing as it occasionally gets a little noisy. The glazing cuts out all the noise. I was able to get a coffee at 5am from the night manager Emilio, with a smile. The location is brilliant, being located very close to the Basilica plaza and the historic town. Overall 10 out of 10.
