Easy to find, easy to park, and every staff member was kind, gentle and helpful. English was well spoken (thank you!). The location was perfect for our bird watching trip. It was peaceful and pretty perfect for us! Plenty of space in the bedrooms. And the food was wonderful too.

“A wonderful location, free from the hassle of tourism!”

We loved staying at La Palmerye. It is situated in a fairly remote location but we enjoyed wandering in nearby fields where the locals were harvesting alfalfa. They were all very friendly. Patrice arranged for a local guide to take me birdwatching in the area, and was luck enough to find some bald ibis, which are an endangered species. We enjoyed sitting on the two terraces admiring the palms. The establishment described itself as an "auberge", which meant that they served delicious home-cooked meals at a very reasonable price - we thoroughly enjoyed these.

Fantastic location to explore the southern end of Souss Massa national park by car or cycle..very friendly staff with nothing being too much trouble . Amazing food and service at very reasonable prices . Tassila offers ATM banking and good food shopping.

“A place for birdwatchers”

We were on a self organized birding trip by car to Sousse Massa National Park and this hotel was just positioned right for us. Super friendly people and delicious home cooked dinner was always a perfect ending of the day. Our room was spacious and clean with comfortably firm bed matresses. We also spent time on the terrasse which was overlooking the river bed. Nice view with active birdlife! Thank you for the hospitality, we enjoyed our stay a lot!

“A relaxing break in a friendly venue with a great pool”

The property is in a very quiet rural area overlooking gardens and with a really good swimming pool. The view from the terrace across the fields was lovely. The staff tried to be helpful and the breakfast was generous. We were pleasantly surprised and pleased to find that the place sold alcohol. Lunch and dinner were authentically local, freshly cooked to order, very inexpensive and were extremely good quality and quantity. We could park our car in a shaded spot and, despite the extreme heat, the air con in the room and the shade in the gardens meant we could relax.

This is a delightful place to stay in the Souss Massa National Park. It is comfortable and clean. The meals are delicious and as there are no real alternatives you would be mad not to eat here. Be aware that you need cash. We went on a tour of the park to see birds and animals- ostriches, gazelles, bald ibis. The owner will organise a guide and the park fees but you have to drive. A car is really needed to visit here. The coast is quite wild.

“A beautiful place for an authentic experience”

Stayed for four nights at this quiet location an hour south of Agadir in early October 2022. Surrounded by nature, this guesthouse is perfect for those that want a more authentic Moroccan experience set within the Berber community and agriculture. The hospitality was amazing, the staff were so helpful, the tagines were amongst that best I'd tasted served with a smile and the best of Moroccan hospitality. The main purpose of the trip was to experience the more natural areas of the country. A short drive away from the Oued Massa reserve, there are plenty of local sites for great birdwatching. Moussier's redstart are present around the guesthouse and a couple of pairs of little swift breed in a disused building further up the road. While it was quiet during my stay, there was a comforting peace about the place enabling a relaxing stay. The bedroom was clean and spacious, the traditional breakfast provided was more than adequate, with the evenings spent reclining around the dining area. The guesthouse is accessed easily by car from Agadir but is in a remote location so don't expect any night life etc. It's not that kind of place. If however you want to get away from the hustle of life in a truly relaxing environment with great food in amongst nature, this place is perfect!

Very welcoming hosts. Lovely peaceful location in a desert oasis. Great little swimming pool to cool down in. The food was a big highlight. Traditional Moroccan dishes, beautifully prepared.

Excellent meals - breakfast and dinner available and vegetarian options provided. Staff very friendly and helpful - French speaking, not easy to converse in English. Close to a road, but very little traffic so quiet at night

Diner superbe, deliceuse; petit de jeuner with varying tasty confitures, msemmen, real coffee and fresh orange juice. I had a garden room, which was really quiet with a lot of privacy and a comfortable bed and blanket. Bathroom top and nicely decorated. Super view from the terrace of the surrounding Massa and really beautiful valley. Didn't use the pool, but it was cleaned.

Food was incredible

The gardens were fantastic, the views from the ample upstairs terrace were amazing. The 3 course meal was really good and great value.
