The room was big, the team was friendly and when we had a smell issue with the room we got they imidiatly changed our room. The games are great addition for the public area.

Hotel facilities don’t look like the photos, the rooms are seriously outdated and old, our bathroom was cracked in so many places. The common area is advertised with a beautiful view which was in reality blocked by wooden boards so we couldn’t see out, the facilities in the common area are all for payment, you couldn’t chill and play pool.

The great experience when we stay in the hotel. The hotels located near the ski area thus we were enjoyable ski time in zao. Meanwhile, the hotel's spa area is very comfortable.

The Onsen was absolutely the best bit. Very acidic, milky white, strong smell of sulfur. The outside Onsen was the best (hottest, 43C) we tried and made our stay. They provide a free green tea/ hot water machine, microwave, toaster and drink vending machines. There is a small kitchen you can rent and you can buy coffee pods from the front desk. Short but uphill walk to the ski lifts.

If you want a typical Japanese hotel experience in an internationally popular destination, with excellent and clean onsen and decent shared facilities otherwise, you will find no issues.

One of the best places in Japan. I love this hotel. Our room was in japanease style with futons. The room was enormous. I love that it has onsens, one is outdoor. I spent there hours! Also there is free space to chill out with beer and play some games. I also liked that We could go to visit and bath other hotels with onsen which where part of some local program. All in all, the place is amazing. Staff was so kind. I was a heartache when I had to leave. I was regretting that was such a short time. I will keep all memories connected to this place and Zao onsen town for a long time! And i need to come back, ASAP !

Love the outdoor onsen. Staff were very accommodating and helpful. Our family room was basic but big enough for 5 and had its own toilet and bath. They have a dining and recreational area, which is good since they don't have an in-house restaurant - food can be brought in and heated.
