We loved our stay at hanamuro inn. Conviented location close to the port. The food was amazing and the staff really friendly and helpful. The showers and toilets were clean.

This was such a nice quiet stay close to Aka Beach and Port. The staff were so helpful with directions and recommendations when we needed something. The snorkelling equipment is great value for money, and they are very lenient with using these items the day you checkout into the afternoon. Super clean room and bathrooms! A highlight of our trip!

The staff there was very kind and even though the ferry was canceled, she helped us a lot going above than just providing accomodations! The place although it's small, has very nice and comfortable accomodations worth the price! And the location is perfect!

Accomodation was extremely close to Aka port and the staff was friendly. Wifi was working really well and shower was clean and well functioning. Despite the room being small, the bed and pillow were comfortable.

That place was from other world. Very cosy and relaxing. Level of chill achieved during our 3 day stay is hard to imagine. Special thanks to owners with saving us from huge problems. The ferry was canceled and we couldn’t arrive on time to airport. Owner was non stop on the phone for whole day organizing special transport for us. We felt safe and calm in such situation thanks to acquired help. Thank you so much!

The place was lovely and the staff accomodated to vegetarians - which is not always the case in Japan! We loved our stay. The rooms get pretty bright in the morning, so you'll need to bring a sleeping mask if you want to sleep in.

This is a lovely guesthouse close to the ferry port and a simple 20 minute walk to Nishibama beach, a picturesque place to snorkel, swim and relax. There are other beautifu beaches, too, as well as a chance to explore two neighbouring islands connected by bridges. The guesthouse also prepares hearty breakfast and lunch bento boxes. Aka Island is worth staying overnight, and this guesthouse is clean, quiet and prepares delicious meals.

Amazing place, snorkelling paradise and cozy structure. Staff friendly and helpful with information even if they did not speak well English.

I have beautiful memories from Aka Island. I really liked this hotel and would like to come back. It is clean and comfortable. Very close to the ferry terminal and the beach. I could store my luggage after check-out.

“A peaceful gem on a beautiful island”

We stayed at Hanamuro Inn for two nights and absolutely loved it. The inn is simple, clean, and full of charm. Just like the island itself. The owner is warm and welcoming, and the whole place had a laid-back, friendly vibe that made us feel right at home. Aka Island is small, quiet, and stunningly beautiful. You’re surrounded by turquoise water, white sand beaches, and a peaceful atmosphere that’s hard to find elsewhere. Around the inn, there are a few small restaurants and two little supermarkets. It is just enough to enjoy good local food without any stress. If you’re looking to unwind, swim, snorkel, or just take in the natural beauty, Hanamuro Inn is a perfect place to stay. We would absolutely come back. A lovely spot on a lovely little island.
