Overview
HI Hostel Zagreb is located in the very centre of the city, in Petrinjska Street. The main city square can be reached in a short walk, while the Main Train Station is just 300 metres away. Free private parking is offered and free WiFi is available throughout the property. All rooms feature parquet floors, a desk, a wardrobe and a seating area. While the single and twin room feature a bathroom with shower or bath, the dormitory offers access to a shared bathroom. All beds feature a nightstand and night lamp, while the rooms offer a view of the backyard and provide a quiet atmosphere. The bus station, train station and city centre are all within walking distance. Overall, the rooms were clean, and it was very convenient to have a washbasin in the room. The toilets were clean, and there was plenty of toilet paper and soap.

Only 5 mins walk thru Train station..grocery shop, restaurants all nearby. Budget friendly. Receptionists are friendly & very helpful in every way. They are open 24/7 we arrived 11pm our train are delayed..

The location was great as it's basically next to the train station and Zagreb is such a walkable city. The check in was easy and it was nice that the staff was present in the reception 24/7. Overall my friend and I had a decent stay for those couple of nights.

“Very convenient location, very friendly staff”
Location incredible - couple of hundred metres from train station; km and a bit from bus station and probably less than a km to old town (depending where in old town). Room was functional - two single beds taking up length of room pretty sparse in comfort but all the basics including a wardrobe and better still a table. Probably highlight for me were the reception staff - there seemed to be a different person each time but universally cheerful and helpful
