Friendly staff that really make you feel welcome. Superb breakfast and a clean kitchenette. Newly renovated and in a quiet part of town. Huge rooms with lovely decor. Short walk to the center of town. Private carpark was very appreciated.

Good location with the a tram stop right outside the door and about a ten minute walk to the main square straight along the main shopping street. No issues with noise at night. The host was extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was left on a tray outside the door at a time of your choosing with plenty of food. I managed to lose my travel adapter and she found me an adapter to plug in my phone first thing in the morning when I told her. Price was extremely reasonable and she met me outside when I arrived. She responded with promptly to any messages sent through the booking messenger service during my stay. Would definitely stay here again.

“Charm on a Zagreb town square”

The landlady couldn't have been more caring of me, her guest. Some renovations were being done in the building, but she did everything possible to mitigate any effects. And there were none! The two rooms that made up my apartment were large, everything was thought of. They overlooked the square, but with double windows there was never any street noise. It was like an apartment within the greater apartment. Breakfasts were delivered on a tray outside the door, and we communicated by Whatsapp. She was so sweet. Tramline number 6 is right outside, on the Britanski Square. Getting to and from the bus and train stations was easy. I loved my stay in the apartment and in the Old Town of Zagreb.

The room was well furnished, and the bed was comfortable.There was air-conditioning or you can have the window open and use the ceiling fan.. There is a swimming pool and comfortable outside seating. The breakfast was good. The proprietor was friendly and helpful.

I have been traveling in Croatia since many years - meanwhile in all 21 županije - and I must have stayed in more than 40 different guesthouses and hotels. From the smallest family pension in the countryside to large 4-star hotels. And the Guest House Ilicki Plac is one of my best experiences! My fourth stay here, this time just for 1 night, on my way home from holidays in Dalmatia, but also just for this 1 night I enjoyed to visit again the very interesting and vibrant City of Zagreb - and this was surely not the last time - Zagreb, volim te! :D Again everything was perfect: a very beautiful big room with a nostalgic flavor, what I liked very much. Comfortabel bed and everything spottless clean! The direct location in the middle of the city, Tram, Shops, Restaurants are all just the jump of a cat away... Silent sleep due to the good double-windows. And Munira is the best host you can imagine: always friendly and helpful - thanks alot for a great stay at your house! And special thanks for the free good breakfast. Hvala vama od srca!

Munira is one of the nicest host I have ever met. She went out of her way to make my stay comfortable. Her guest house is in a very good location, close to the tram and a short walk to Zagreb's sights. It is highly recommended.

The hostess is a friendly and positive person. Every day she brought me a different breakfast so that I would try different things. The location is perfect. Very close to the old center and next to the S- Bahn. There was a supermarket across the road. The building is somewhat old, but the room was nice for a single traveler.

I absolutely loved this place and if I return to Zagreb, I would definetly book again! It's a short walk from the old town; you can also easily reach the train station and bus station with Tram n.6, which stops next to the building. The area around is nice and safe, with lots of shops and places to eat. The building is quiet and well kept. The room is quirky and stylish, decorated with an eclectic mix of vintage and modern furnitures. It was very clean and the bed was comfortable; there is also a kitchenette with sink, kettle and a small fridge. There is also a balcony, which was lovely in the evening. Wifi worked well. The lady who owns this place takes pride in looking after it, she was very friendly and she is really sweet. In the morning she brought me a very generous breakfast (she didn't have to, my booking didn't include breakfast!). She really takes good care of her guests.

The house is right next to the tram stop, which is very convenient. There are bars and shops nearby and the main square in the center can be reached in 7-10 minutes on walking. The room is small, but cozy and equipped with everything (airco, hairdryer, fridge, and also a very small "kitchen" (no place to cook though)). Finally, the host is amazing. Opening the second door of the building can be tricky and she opened it for me at 5:40 to avoid that I could lose time for my taxi. She also arranges it for me. It is very nice.

The location is in the heart of the city and walking distance to all the attractions. The owner is the nicest person that I have ever met at any hotels that I have stayed! This lady waited on the street for my arrival and carried my suitcase up the stairs! She upgraded my room and gave a bigger room with two beds and a huge bathroom that was a size of a room itself! My room was like a one bedroom apartment with kitchenet and nice view of the city from the window. The host was so sweet and asked me what time I wanted to have breakfast and what I wanted to eat. The next day, she left a tray with coffee and 3 croissant (even though I had asked for only one) with jam and butter. She even gave me some fruit that she had bought from the market. Her English was not perfect but we managed to communicate :) She even called for a taxi that she knew for a cheaper price to take me to the airport. I kind of felt that I was visiting my aunt or a family because of her sweetness and generosity!!! Very lovely and thank you!! :)

The room is small and the building is a bit run down, i was disappointed at first. But the hosts were so extra nice and attentive to your needs and considerate to help you that I ended having a great time. I recommend the place.

The lady/owner was really nice, always taking care of details and even provided breakfast. I felt like I was at home. Really good location, DM nearby, market is crossing the street and with transport stops near.
