“Lovely place, reflects the character of the town and the location so well”

Authentic place with few but very large rooms on several levels, beautifully appointed reflecting where you are, tea and breakfast terrace by the pool or on the rooftop. The traditional food was really good, and special thanks to a wonderful team, the oasis and old town walking tour, the live music after dinner.

Located in a popular area in the outskirts of beautiful Zagora, on the other side of of the Draa River at the foot of Jebel Zagora, this riad is a jewel without the posh of 4* hotels. The food, the rooms, the quiet ambiance, everything was to the point. Mohamed was a perfect host — he was incredibly modest and generous with us, we only discovered in passing that he also happens to be an elite ultrarunner, and the 2026 winner of the harrowing Marathon des sables.

We stayed at this traditional Moroccan accommodation in Zagora and felt very comfortable throughout our stay. The place has an authentic atmosphere and is a great experience if you want to get a sense of Moroccan hospitality. The staff and service were friendly and attentive. They were always available for questions and made sure everything went smoothly during our stay. One highlight was definitely the dinner – it was absolutely delicious and really stood out. We also booked a one-day desert trip through the accommodation, and the whole process worked perfectly. The booking was smooth and well organized, and we really enjoyed the experience in the desert. Overall, we had a great stay and can highly recommend this place as a starting point for a desert trip in Zagora.

Newly built characterful hotel. Large bedroom. Good standard Moroccan breakfast. Dull standard dinner, rather expected better for this hotel.

Everything was exceptionell. From the breakfast and generous dinners to the big rooms with even bigger shower. We felt very comfortable and the hotel staff Mohammed as the owner and Omar were super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

A beautifully decorated, spacious Riad. Our room for 3 people was huge as was the bathroom and the decor was very tasteful and modern. The bar, dining and lounge areas were similarly large and nicely decorated. The outdoor area and pool were very nice and the water was clear and clean. We had a very nice dinner and breakfast outside by the pool. Our host was very helpful and friendly and took us on a tour of the palmarie, gardens and ksar and was very imformative. Better still it is owned by one of Morocco's leading ultra marathon runners. Highly recommend this Riad.

The location was perfect, located at the outskirts of Zagora at the border to the desert. Only a few minutes away from a most beautiful oasis which we visited with the manager of the hotel. The rooms in the Riad were spacious and very tasteful designed, the pool in the garden was relaxing. Fantastic food in the for dinner and breakfast. The staff was very helpful and super kind.

Find it up a side street and you think, ok.. then you walk in, and there greeted with smiles and tea.. everything is explained, and then you open the door onto an exceptional room with space and furnishings you expect in a high end hotel. Just everything is perfect. the decor the bed, the shower! look out on your balcony to a small pool and a lovely garden. Breakfast is amazing and the dinners , set around the pool and fringed by rosemary hedges is just lovely. everything is there to relax you and remind you about real hospitality. Truly, if I could stay somewhere for a long time, this is the place! A joy

À beautiful rustic property - stylishly designed. Relaxed with friendly, accommodating staff who were flexible to our needs. Very good food. Peaceful with lovely area around pool and roof terrace. Plus very spacious rooms. Wish we had stayed more than one night. If you are doing a desert trip from Zagora - I’d recommend studying here thé night before thé trip and the night after!
