Overview
Set on the edge of Mount Etna Regional Park, Antico Borgo Petralia is actually an ancient hamlet that opened to the public in 2011. It features a pretty courtyard, garden and swimming pool. This historic property just outside Zafferana Etnea has an impressive stone façade and lots of original features. Guests can enjoy drinks out in the courtyard and relax on the sun loungers scattered around the pool. Rooms are cool and comfortable with tiled floors and air conditioning. Each room is different at Petralia Antico Borgo and some have sloped wood-beamed ceilings. In each room you will find a flat-screen TV with free Sky channels and free Wi-Fi access. Some have a balcony, some views of the mountains or sea. A buffet breakfast is served each morning and snacks and drinks are available from the bar. Free parking is provided and a shuttle service is available to the north slopes of Mount Etna and the nearest beach is 12 km away.

“Amazing Birthday Getaway”
Beautiful scenic views and absolutely wonderful staff who bend over backwards to make you enjoy your stay! A small number of rooms and generally older couples, so plenty of peace and quiet. Wineries are close by alongside the local towns. Just amazing!

Everything was top quality. It was the perfect place for a relaxing break with great hospitality - everyone was so friendly and willing to go that extra mile to make your stay special. Great location for those wanting to explore Sicily. Buffet breakfast was exactly what we hoped for with a good selection of food. Amazing view of Etna and the sea. Swimming pool was beautiful.

“Amazing stay!!”
Just one word to describe our incredible stay: amazing!!! This is a beautiful family-run establishment where we were truly treated with the utmost care and attention. The service provided by Sara was absolutely five-star quality. The food served on-site is simple, made with local products, and absolutely delicious — and the homemade cakes prepared by the mother for breakfast were out of this world! The property itself is stunning, featuring a lovely pool with breathtaking views of the countryside and the sea. If we ever return to Sicily, we will definitely come back to Antico Borgo Petralia!

Highly recommended! This family run agriturismo is well located, kept in great conditions and has beautiful views! Mrs Petralia bakes fresh cakes for breakfast every morning, and Sara and Irene are extremely friendly and accommodating.
