“Fabulous city - great location property let down by inaccurate advertising”

The Apartments were lovely and in a great area of old town within the city walls. They were clean and maintained well even the staircase was lovely - very authentic looking. . Shower was hot and plentiful and there was a small fridge.

To start with there was a mix up with our rooms however we were then upgraded to the Jolly room with balcony and it was beautiful and we’re glad there was a mix up on the first place as the balcony at night is simply stunning. I wish I knew the woman’s name who is there every day to take care of the rooms as she was first class lovely and so helpful, we would definitely be back.

“Superb location, clean and good facilities”

The property is in an excellent position just inside the old town walls and opposite the ferries. Everything was very clean, the bathroom in good condition with plenty of hot water. The bed was comfortable and it was quiet at night. The cleaner was friendly but the person checking us in was a voice on the entry phone. It was not a problem as everything was well organised.

Location was excellent. Staff available when needed. Need to re-consider placement of AC unit in bedroom as at present it's behind a free standing wardrobe

Clean and central location. Like the coffee machine at the entrance and the detail of the room was of a high quality. The manager was helpful with an issue, Good shower and large bed.

Tea and coffee facilities in the room would have been better. Also the fridge in the room was noisy so had to turn it off to sleep.

Wonderful location in old Zadar, property had lovely character. Easy to access with very prompt responses from host.

Location is fabulous. Considering it is in a busy old town touristy area, the street and gate is quiet. The property is just gorgeous. We were lucky to have 4th floor room jolly with a balcony. So nice at sunset and sunrise. Well worth the extra $. It was clean and comfortable and had lovely charm. Coffee is downstairs at your whim.

The location is excellent for exploring the old town. The rooms were clean and comfortable and had a small fridge. The lift to the room was a bonus!

The room was lovely and clean. The hotel is situated next to the old town walls which makes it very convenient for accessing everything easily. The room is quiet with the windows closed, and there is aircon. The facilities within the room are good. The person I spoke with on the phone let me check in an hour early so I could drop my bags. There is a café next door for breakfast and a couple of cafés for really good coffee.

Location perfect

The location was perfect - literally 2 mins round from where the bus drops you off from the airport and you are smack bang in the middle of the Old Town and can visit everything in the town on foot. You are 10 min walk from the Greeting to the Sun and the Sea Organ and 2 mins from a small supermarket and the Donut church and bellfry tower. This town is right on the sea so you are never far from the water and all the boats and yachts that surround the place. There are loads of sea excursions to do on the tourist day trips and tons of different restaurants, cafes and bars. There are also loads of different churches and museums to explore. Plus the evening entertainment at the Donut church and the market stalls are open late all along the seafront. Also, it is really easy to get from Zadar airport into the town by bus and costs a lot less than a taxi - but you have to pay in the local currency, kuna. The Zadar airport website gives you all the info about the bus timetable etc. My accommodation was amazing. The staff are not in the building all the time but they are accessible if you need them and when you get there you can get their phone numbers if you need to call them. They are also not intrusive and will only come into your room if you need anything, otherwise they will just leave you in peace. The building is well kept, clean and safe. This is not a hotel in the traditional sense as there is no food served or constant staff presence. But you literally step outside the door and already there is a cafe, restaurant and bakery 30 seconds away. Everything was spotless and I was very happy with my room and the standard of the accommodation.
