“The perfect stay in Zadar”
The apartment was brand new, very clean and fully equipped. The garden is perfect for kids who can play outside. The host was very kind, he gave us all the information before our arrival and checked we were ok during our stay.

“Beautiful modern flat.”
Beautiful apartment in a quiet part of Zadar, with a small private garden outside. The owner left us some drinks (two colas, two beers) in the fridge, which were much appreciated. We took a bus from Trogir to Zadar and needed a taxi to get to the apartment, which cost us EUR25. The taxi driver gave us his card and offered a 10% reduction if we used him for our return fare. We tried to contact him when we left two days later, but couldn't get hold of him. We found a taxi driver online who charged us EUR40! Despite the cost of getting here from the bus station, it really is a lovely flat which made it a good choice. It's nice and cool inside, even though it was 37C outside (we didn't need aircon). We walked to a local restaurant for dinner the first night and walked into Zadar the next day, although it is about 30 mins away. (We couldn't justify another taxi).

The apartment was very nice. Good beds and two nice bathrooms. It is located in a quiet and peaceful neighbourhood, but still relatively central. The owners were always helpful so that we would have a nice stay.

“Stylish, spacious, welcoming and homey”
The Host, Josip is a 'magician': he does not bother you - although he lives close by - but is always available and ready the moment you need him :) We had excellent communication with Josip before, during and after our stay, he is a real professional. My whole family enjoyed our stay at his stylish and spacious holiday home which is located close to the beaches and the city centre of Zadar, and is equipped with everything you might need during your stay. We plan to come back.

The apartments in Olive Residence are new, spacious and there are two nice bathrooms. Olive Residence is situated in a quiet neighborhood rather far away from the beach and from the old town. We do indeed acknowledge that the ratings of the apartment and of the owner Josip are amazing. However we felt that we had a rather unpleasant impression of Josip. He might have had a bad day, but when pointing out a few problems with a drain in the main bathroom and dirty kitchenware, we were told that he would call the police, if we broke anything. We are a family of 4 traveling with our grownup children. We have rented accommodation at Booking.com many times all over the world with absolutely no problems and no complaints. So being threatened with the police was a very sad experience for us. If you do insist on visiting Olive Residence, we just wish you the best of luck.

“Great stay in Zadar”
Josip's flat is just marvellous, well maintained and very spacious. It fits perfectly a family and we had a relaxing time there. Josip is just a lovely person, full of delicate attentions for his guests: he would deserve 2023 best host from Booking com medal!
