The location is extremely convenient, within five minutes of the station and close to the ski resorts. The overall experience was smooth and well-managed, which made it an easy and reassuring choice for families.

Hot Springs were amazing, staff super friendly and willing to help us with anything we needed, and the complementary snacks and drinks were outstanding

Phenomenal staff - so kind with their greetings… the gentleman with the glasses was so enthusiastic and friendly. Onsen facilities were of a high standard. Rooms were comfortable and well equipped. Great pick up and drop off service at the station. Despite this it is a short walk away from the station. I also like the western style beds - we dislike futon beds and love that option. Also like the complimentary sake corner in the evenings.

Great location. The room was a really good size with a nice family area to sit at, heating was good. Very friendly and helpful staff. The onsen was wonderful. Really liked the lounge where we could relax in after dinner, and have drinks and snacks.

“Big room and clean toilet.”

The staff prepared a small bottle of wine for our honeymoon celebration, which was very lovely. They also provided free-flow sake and wine during specific period. The toilet is clean.

The room was very spacious, the beds were comfortable, and the onsen was clean. I loved the ourdoor onsen with a slightly lower temperature. It was verge convenient to the train station, only a short walk with bags to the train.

Excellent service by the staff. The size of the room. The fantastic onsen . Plenty of restaurants to choose from close by. Near the rail station. Shuttle was very helpful for our luggage.

“A highland get-away to return to in all seasons”

The location is fantastic, just 5 minutes walk from Echigo-Yuzawa shinkansen train station and 5 min walk to Yuzawa Kogen cable car station, where one gets fabulous mountain views at the top. Once you step inside, it is a haven of peaceful relaxation with superb indoor and outdoor onsens. The lounge is a great chill-out area with a fireplace for the winter, and serves complimentary hot drinks in the morning plus sake and sparkling wine in the evening. The staff are so warm and they really made us feel like this place is our home away from home. Several restaurants just outside, plenty of food options. Next time we will try their in-house kaiseki that features local produce.

The traditional style of the hotel was excellent. The whole place just oozes with relaxing vibes, the bedroom was lovely and clean - the beds very comfortable and the private Onsen is a must. Great staff too, so welcoming.
