“Clean and good hostel”

Short walk from train station, room was warn during winter. Clothes hangers were also provided in the room. There are washing machines in the hostel, otherwise it is next to a laundry shop.

Friendly staff. Very helpful. The room was clean, safe, and spacious. The bathroom facilities were clean. Great value for money.

Good location, near to the train station(shinkansen) and you can walk to the ski resort by walking. The owner is very friendly and also cats are very cute !

I enjoyed my time resting in the living room a lot! It’s cozy and warm. People had meals, chatted with each other, or just relaxed on their own here. The host creates a wonderful atmosphere! I slept well and got fully rest! I would love to come back again. Highly recommended!

Very good location, 5 min walk to JR station and 2 min to the nearest onsen. Staffs are very nice and helpful. Definitely will stay again if available.

Sansan Yuzawa Backpackers – This is my second time staying here. On this visit, I noticed that many things remained the same, while some have changed, especially the staff, who are now almost entirely Chinese. This means communication is primarily in English. Fortunately, this isn’t an issue for me, but for Japanese guests, it might cause some initial concern. However, any worries would likely disappear after a conversation, as all the staff (including the cat) are incredibly friendly, cheerful, and always ready to help. I hope this aspect remains unchanged, as it’s a key charm that makes guests want to return.

Very friendly owner. Thank you very much for her hospitality. There is a public onsen two minute walk away. Very convenient.

“High Value Solo Weekend Trip”

The homely feel of the communal area was really nice, great to see other people and relax. The drying room is really handy, and I really appreciated being able to leave some of my luggage there for a few hours.

Great little stay. Bed had a small desk built in to store belongings on. Cozy common area with sink, fridge, microwave, usb chargers, heater, and cats. Receptionists were kind, often greeting you upon returning. There was a drying room, likely for ski wear... but I did not investigate it.

Near railway station，room is cleaning and warm,and very convinent for guest to go to ski resorts around the town.

loved it! The owner was really friendly and recommended shops we could visit. We also rented snowboarding gear from her friend's shop; they picked us up from the hostel and brought us back after snowboarding, so it honestly saved us time and made the entire trip easy for us.
