“Great little hotel in the centre of Naeba”

Spacious and comfortable room with wash basin, fridge and TV. Very friendly and helpful couple running the hotel. Good breakfast with eggs, sausage and ham, plus salad, bread and fruit. Good coffee. Attractive lounge area on each floor. Close to town centre restaurants. Can buy discounted lift tickets there (cash preferred), or buy online from WAmazing.com

The owner's wife is from Singapore, who can speak the fluently English, it made the communication much easy. The hotel is old, equipment and maintenance might not good. But the location near by Naeba ski resort, it is very good ! Owner and his wife is gent and kind.

A very pleasant experience , you have everything you need here . The walk to nearest ski resort is 15 min walk coming back is a bit uphill walking . You can order your breakfast with a small fee , the rooms are big , there is storage for snowboards and you get your ski pass here at a discount if you purchase at the hotel. Overall a 10/10 experience.

The 24 hour public bath is the best! Always hot and relaxing. The breakfast is nice; the owners are good at English and super helpful; it is quiet most of the time; the snow tickets are cheaper

The location is good. Walking distance to Naeba ski resort and a bus stop. There is a onsen bath.

This property offers great value for money being just a short walk from Naeba ski resort. while the property itself is quite dated, it’s very clean, everything works and my Stay was very comfy. The breakfast is fantastic and I suggest anyone going get it as an extra. The bus to Echigo Yazawa has a bus stop directly outside of the property which made it easy to navigate to get back to Tokyo. The couple that run the establishment are very helpful and friendly and also speak excellent English. They arranged ski hire, ski gear and even lift tickets at a very competitive rate. The town of Naeba has very little facilities so you mainly have to rely on the Prince Hotel for these things.

Lovely staff and big rooms. Public bath was clean and hot.

The host was very nice at reception and provided useful information about the ski resort at mt. Naeba. The host also provided ski pass with discount and the rental of equipment. Also, the room was huge and comfortable for two people.

Owners were lovely and friendly, both spoke English well too. The location wasn't too far away from the slopes, about 10 mins walk and there are little restaurants and supermarkets nearby too and also quite convenient to take the local bus to the station since the stop is right outside.

The owners were really kind and helpful! The breakfast was also on point and I enjoyed it a lot. My room was spacious and it was nice to Japanese-style hotel experience. Overall, the price is really good for what you get at the hotel as long as you are okay with shared toilets and baths.
