Our host and their staff were very welcoming and offered discounts on local onsens and ski lift tickets. I'm glad we book the breakfast as there's not a lot of local options and also the variety on offer was pleasing. Free car parking was appreciated too.

The proximity to the nearby Mitsumata Ropeway is excellent, at around 100 metres. Wonderful family running the place, answered all my questions about White Horse Inn and the area & transport. I needed the latest check in ~21:00 and it was easy - very helpful for our late arrival! We took a taxi as we missed the last bus, route 1. Simple breakfast with decent range of options in the buffet if you chose that inclusion.

We had a unique experience staying in tatami room, and having meal in front of boiling kettle at the common dining are.

The location to the Matsumoto Ropeway is convenient.

The hotel was very clean, great location Kagura ski resort was across the road. The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was outstanding.

Room was the biggest size I've ever have in Japan. It's right next to a big ski resort as well.

Clean room. Clean toilet with Washlet. The Inn runs a rule that no one comes in beyond the entrance with outside shoes or boots. It kept the corridor dry and clean.

Close to the lift, late check in by yourself, feels like a Hostel, ski rental without problems, discounts for ski passes, bathrooms amazing, rooms simple but perfect, bus to the town very convenient, u can heat food there, vending machines

Friendly helpful staff. Great location. Good breakfast... Great storage area and dry room. Room was small but nice, great newly renovated bathroom. Parking directly across the road. They do a fantastic job keeping to snow away.. 15th year going to japan. I would have to say that this is the best Family run place that I've stayed at in all the years..

Loved this very cute lodge. Amazing location for the slopes and hired our ski’s here too which were perfect. The breakfast was nice too. Really happy with it. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!

Well location near a lift. Can rent and store skis directly in the hotel. Rooms were small but functional.

The location of this property close to the Mitsumata ropeway station is what sells it. The staff are friendly, hard-working and efficient, the rooms are very clean and comfortable. The provided Breakfast was good with enough options. It was nice to have a real kitchen for a change and a shared lounge space. There was thankfully a vending machine for meals, a piano and a ping pong table.
