The rooms were comfy and our room had our own private outdoor onsen, which was awesome! Place was quiet and the little restaurant that opens at 8pm has good ramen. Staff were genuinely friendly but was quite hard to communicate.

Private in room onsen is wonderful and the ski hire / shuttle to and from the resorts was a welcome bonus. We have stayed here twice and plan on returning again.

The hotel is not far from the JR Yuzawa station. So, it is convenient for those who take the JR train. But it requires to ascend up a slope of 200 meters.

We love the hotel, the staff was extremely helpful and excellent service. The onsen was excellent and everything about the hotel is just wonderful. We will definitely stay here again.

Outdoor onsens are perfect! Like them very much! Dinners are delicious and portions are huge, suggest for customers who wanna stay here should take their dinner, no regret! Breakfast also worth it, variety of choices, 2 days breakfast did not exactly same, appreciated! Breakfast and dinner are the best among our 11 days in Japan of different hotels.

“Extremely relaxing”

The views were amazing, the staff were extremely attentive and the public baths are the best we've experienced in a ryokan. Everyone tried their best to communicate with us in English or hand signels. They made us feel as though we've visited many times in the past. The breakfast spread was the highlight with some choices rotating between two sets every day.

We left some clothes in their onsen place. After checking out for two days, we were still able to retrieve them because their staff have been very considerate to have kept them for us.

Authentic Japanese style tatami room and bed. Location is good and the food provided are awesome. Open air private onsen is provided in the room. Definitely worth the price

“Good for a relaxing.”

I had a very nice and spacious room with both internal and external bathtubs. The dinner was excellent, and the breakfast was very good (Japanese style). The staff was nice, and the environment was quiet. It was a nice experience.

The lobby and all the artwork around were lovely. The waterfall in the cafe area was beautiful. Food in the Ramen area was okay. The rooms were huge and very nice. I was probably expecting amazing views, but we didn't get that.

Dinner and breakfast was fabulous with each offering a vast variety of food items. The outdoor baths in our rooms was truly an incredible experience that we'll always remember.
