2 Cosy fully self-contained Cottages in the village of Yungaburra. The cottages are provided with a lovely pamper basket including Champagne, Chocolate, and home made biscuits. Walking distance to restaurants, pub and shopping hub...both with open fires ,kitchen, washer and dryer, lounge room, a lovely balcony overlooking bush land and nature at your door step. The Lodge is in the heart of Yungaburra, a place where you can relax and escape from your busy lifestyle. We offer 3 luxury suites ( each with ensuites), the rooms open onto lush green gardens. Complimentary wine and breakfast is provided Featuring a kitchenette with a fridge and a toaster, each unit also comes with a flat-screen TV, ironing facilities, wardrobe and a seating area with a sofa. Cairns is 44 km from Williams Lodge, while Atherton is 11 km away. The nearest airport is Cairns Airport, 47 km from the accommodation.

Very close to town. Big room was very comfortable and clean. The host, Gina was warm and friendly and made us very welcomed. Appreciated the thoughtful extras(wine, chocolate and crackers) on our arrival!

“This lodge had everything we needed”
We couldn't find a place first, and Jina came out waited for us. She was very kind and welcoming us. We stayed birdwing self-contained lodge which was just a minute drive from William Lodge. It was very clean, we enjoyed the big bath, both bedrooms had good-sized beds. The kitchen has gas cook top, and a washing machine and dryer. The lodge had everything we needed. The Champagne was nice, outside area was nice. We went for a walk to the river and tried to find Platypus every morning and went to drive to Lake eacham for a swim every day. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you 😊

“Great place to stay and central for touring the Tablelands. An easy walk to the shops, pub and cafés”
We stayed at Birdwing Cottage which is almost surrounded by forest. The birdsong at dusk was fantastic. It is very roomy with an older atmosphere and has everything you need.

A beautiful historic property in a great location - easy walking distance to cafes, restaurants, shops and platypus viewing. Host was very friendly and provided prosecco, cheese and crackers and chocolate on arrival. Pool area was very relaxing as well.

Accomodation was perfect for our family gathering. It was wonderful to be so close to the local Pub and restaurants. We walked most places. As a family group having 3 rooms worked so very well.

“Perfect accomodation for our family holiday.”
This property was perfect for our extended family. We were able to enjoy the wonderful pool area and outdoor casual areas while having the privacy of 3 seperate rooms to sleep. It is so convenient to the local cafes and shops. We walked most places. What a pleasure. Our hostess Gina was very helpful. We also enjoyed a very lovely welcome treat of wine, cheese and crackers; and chocolate. Very nice touch. Plenty of pool and bathroom towels.

“Beautifully presented and comfortable accommodation, close to town centre, and well priced.”
All three accommodation units were exceptionally clean and well-presented, and a lot more spacious than expected. We received a very warm welcome from Gina, and each room had a lovely hamper which was well received. The rooms had very comfortable beds, sofas and other furnishings that fitted well with the "old-age" lodge style of accommodation. The lodge gardens were well maintained and there were plenty of common areas around the pool (which we didn't use) but looked great. The separate two-bed chalet was within walking distance (300mts) from the lodge and included a cosy lounge area with fire (plenty of firewood) that our group of eight used for our evening meals/drinks. All accommodation units were only a few 100 metres walking distance to the town centre. Altogether, as a group, we would recommend this accommodation without hesitation.
