Penny and Jorg were absolutely lovely and the perfect hosts. Complete privacy, yet only a door bell ring away should we have needed anything. The room was exceptionally clean and the personally delivered breakfast to our room was delicious. The small added touches like the snacks and dram of port made the experience even better. Gorgeous property to stroll through. Highly recommended 👌

The host was welcoming and made a generous and very tasty breakfast . The bed was very comfortable The fridge had cold drinks, tea and coffee supplied Good shower with plenty of hot water but over a spa bath so a clamber to get in for some people

We greatly appreciated the hospitality and extra touches that Penny provided i.e. port to sip while soaking in the spa at the end of the day, almond milk and special breaky request. Also loved the beautiful Moroccan décor as it helped remove us from our daily experience. The resident cat and little curlew family were so sweet too! It was an ideal location to access lakes for walks, kayaking, dining, local boutiques to schmooze through. And natural attractions like the curtain fig made for a really diverse visit! At night we dined locally at a gorgeous little local restaurant (Our Place), then indulged in a moonlight visit to the curtain fig which was absolutely superb due to the full moon light and serenade of the night forest critters. All was topped off beautifully with a long soak in the spa while sipping port... so lovely!

Breakfast was superb. Walk down to river to see wildlife was amazing. Host very welcoming.

The location was great close to town but far enough out to feel like you are isolated. Very homey and welcoming feel. Breakfast options were great too.

Chocolates and port were a lovely unexpected touch. Nice to walk through property and walk along Barron river into town and back. Breakfast was huge and really nice. The host, Penny, was very friendly and accomodating.
