“Amazing and comfortable stay in the rainforest with wonderful wildlife viewing.”

Stunning, peaceful location in the rainforest beside Lake Eachem. Comfortable, clean and stylish. Great kitchen, dining area, and bath. Good towels (and a towel airer!). Very comfortable bed, nice linen. Good wifi. We didn't need the wood stove but we did use the reverse a/c unit as the evenings are cool and damp. Lovely raised outdoor area, with seating and dining furniture. The absolute highlight was the selection of fruit, birdseed and mealworms that John gave us on arrival.... This meant that a plethora of beautiful birds, 2 padmelons, and a muskyrat kangaroo came to see us. The Victoria Riflebird put on a stunning display at the end of our veranda. Amazing experience. The lovely breakfast hamper and bottle of port was also a lovely touch, and very tasty!

“Very relaxing stay in a beautiful natural setting”

Had a very relaxing 2 night stay. Very comfortable bed. Lovely hot shower with the option to have a spa bath. Was given a beautiful breakfast basket on arrival. Plenty of native birds and small kangaroos right outside the door to keep you entertained. Very short drive to Lake Eacham. Would definitely recommend to stay here. Thank you John and Jenny.

Fabulous location with hot and cold running birds on tap. Also, red-legged pademelons and musky rat-kangaroos near our deck. John and Jennie were friendly and helpful while respecting our privacy. Breakfast ingredients and bird treats were provided. I wish I could have stayed a week.

The location was so tranquil, the native animals and birds were so delightful and the opportunity to be so close to nature was divine. The decor and timber added to the charm and serenity a wonderful place to stay.

Excellent location, cottage was well equiped, great interaction with birds and paddy melons etc. breakfast basket and food for the birds etc was also great. Only thing it that would have been more comfortable is a better mattress rather than a hard mattress covered by a mattress topper.

The setting is beautiful and the wildlife wonderful. The accompanying book with wildlife made identification easy. The spa is a good size. Breakfast hamper was great. Kitchen had everything we needed
