“Fantastic stay and great hospitality amongst beautiful mountains”

Beautiful location with great hiking and riding opportunities. Clean and spacious room with comfy bed; amazing hospitality; delicious home cooked food. Big Thank you to Servara, the lady of the house, for being so welcoming and fun to talk with. And thank you to the son Shukrollo for being so reliable and helpful with arranging transfers and horse riding. I stayed for 3 nights and would go back any time.

The home is located in an exceptionally beautiful place which is part of Ukhum. The hosts are very kind and you get a family feeling. The mountains are stunning and you can close to ride a horse to take you across the mountains. there's wildlife around, we saw wild mountain goats and eagles. We were picked up from Bukhara which is 5 hours away and dropped off at Samarkand. we spent two nights which is the perfect amount of time. I read in some reviews that WiFi is amazing, in fact it was okay.

Very quiet and relaxing guesthouse/homestay, good simple home made local food, great hikes around, very helpful family who could organise our transfer from Samarkand and to Tashkent.

From the very first moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and kindness that made us feel like part of the family rather than just guests. The parents are incredibly hospitable, always making sure we had everything we needed, and their children are some of the kindest and most helpful we have ever met – always smiling, ready to answer questions, carry things, or simply make us feel comfortable. The atmosphere is so friendly and natural that you immediately relax and enjoy your time here. The rooms are spacious, clean, and very comfortable. Beds are cozy and provided us with a great night’s sleep after long days of hiking and exploring. The showers and toilets in the guest block are modern and work perfectly, and Wi-Fi is fast and reliable, which was a pleasant surprise in such a remote village. It allowed us to stay connected while still being surrounded by the peace and quiet of mountain life. Everything about the facilities felt well thought-out and practical, yet at the same time authentic and charming. One of the absolute highlights was the food. Every meal was freshly cooked, rustic, and full of flavor. Breakfast was generous and energizing, and dinners were hearty and delicious. Sitting down to eat with the family was an unforgettable experience – we shared laughter, stories, and truly felt like we were part of their daily life. It’s rare to find such authentic hospitality and such a genuine cultural exchange, but this guesthouse offers exactly that. The setting of the guesthouse is beautiful – tucked away in the mountains, surrounded by fresh air, nature, and peace. Hiking trails start directly from the house, and the family can also organize horse riding, which we found to be an amazing adventure and one of the most memorable parts of our entire trip.

Highly recommended place to stay! The family is very kind and welcoming. Horse riding was amazing – one of the highlights of our trip. Beautiful hiking straight from the guesthouse and very peaceful atmosphere. The food was delicious, home-cooked and plentiful, breakfast was also great. Rooms are clean and comfortable, showers work perfectly and Wi-Fi was good. We really enjoyed sharing dinner with the family, it felt very warm and authentic. “Very highly recommended accommodation and village away from the busy main tourist traps”

The family were very welcoming. The horse riding they organised was fabulous, one of the highlights of our entire holiday in Uzbekistan. Hiking opportunities straight from the door or just some time chilling in a very relaxed atmosphere . Home cooked rustic food was really nice and plentiful. We were lucky enough to be joined by the family to eat dinner on two of our 3 night stay, the last night was too cold for them to sit out though. Breakfast was great too. The showers in the guest block are very good ( but the right hand one doesn’t drain well)

Our stay at Shiringul Guesthouse was truly one of the best homestay experiences we have ever had. Your warm and friendly hospitality made us feel completely at home. You were always ready to help, and the sincerity of your care made our trip very special. The food was absolutely wonderful — homemade, fresh, full of traditional flavors, and prepared with so much love. Both breakfasts and dinners were generous, delicious, and satisfying. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and very well kept. The beds had fresh linens, everything was neat and tidy, and the bathrooms were spotless, which made our stay even more pleasant. The guesthouse is surrounded by peaceful nature, fresh air, and a calm atmosphere — the perfect place to relax and unwind. The Wi-Fi worked reliably, enough for messages, emails, and browsing, which made our stay even easier. The family was very welcoming and helpful. I had an incredibly nice stay, enjoyed good and local food, had nice company and went for some really good hikes in the area. I would definitely stay again and hope to see these lovely people again. Totally recommend staying there! Also the bed was comfortable and the facilities very clean.

Very nice guest house in Hayat. Perfect place to explore the mountain area. There are 4 comfy clean rooms and 2 very new super modern bathrooms. Did not expect this. Breakfast was excellent and the hosts superfriendly. The dinner was also super tasty. Big thanks and highly recommended to anyone who wants to visit the beautiful nuratau mountains.

I loved staying here! The guesthouse is clean and very comfortable. Fast WiFi, transport available, and they have horses for riding. There is a big river nearby and many beautiful gardens around the guesthouse. It’s a perfect place to relax and enjoy the peaceful nature of the Nuratau mountains. The family is kind and the food is fresh and delicious. Highly recommend! I had a very comfortable stay here. The guesthouse is clean, quiet, and in a beautiful mountain area. The family is kind and helpful but also gives you space to relax. Food was tasty and fresh. Perfect place to rest after hiking and enjoy local nature. This is probably the only review that was actually written by a guest and not an employee 😂 The mass spamming of positive reviews after I refused to take my very reasonable review down is ludicrous & I'm glad I checked. To this point in time I've received 8 missed calls & multiple messages asking me to remove this review & suggesting I have no honour/made a promise of some sort. They have also tried repeatedly to contact my friends by Instagram. My original review may be the only authentic review on this place, except now maybe for the 9. Which frankly feels much more damaging to my 'honour' than writing my honest opinion. Furthermore I did not get lost and stay at the 'wrong guesthouse'. They logged in on my phone to leave the review. They've since made false reviews in my name and repeatedly claim the bad experience is from other guesthouses. It is shameful to disparage your neighbours this way and now a 6/10 feels overly generous.

A beautiful, peaceful escape into the real village life of Uzbekistan Our stay at Comfort Guesthouse in Hayot village, Nuratau mountains, was truly unforgettable. The place is surrounded by stunning nature, fresh mountain air, and beautiful views of the hills and green fields. It is the perfect place to relax and feel peace in your heart, away from the noise of the city. The guesthouse itself is very clean, tidy, and comfortable, with everything we needed. The rooms are cozy and warm, the beds are comfortable, and the shower is good with hot water. We also loved the traditional Uzbek decorations, which made the place feel authentic and welcoming. The family who runs the guesthouse is extremely kind and hospitable. They greeted us with smiles and treated us like part of their family. We joined them in making fresh manti and non, which was a beautiful cultural experience. The food was home-cooked, delicious, and made with love, including fresh salads, soups, and local dishes. We had a lovely stay here. , peaThe guesthouse is in a beautifulceful location, surrounded by nature, and everything was clean, tidy, and comfortable. The family was very kind and welcoming, and we felt well looked after during our stay. The young boys speak good English and were always ready to help us with anything we needed. We also enjoyed having the option for home-cooked breakfast and dinner, which made us feel like part of the family. We had a rental car and wanted to explore at our own pace, and believe this will help guests feel more comfortable. The best hotel in the village of Uhkum on the Nurato mountain is the "Shiringul" hotel, where we stayed for 2 nights. We came from Bukhara for lunch, had dinner. The food was very tasty. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The children were very nice. They showed us the way and helped us. The parents were very kind. The family hotel was very good. The place was comfortable. The room was comfortable. The sofas were soft. The hotel was new. The hotel was built 3 months ago. Now the hotel is new. The place transport has and hose has riding do you wants. and donkey has. possible l in the mountain wild sheep old vilage forest petroglph has There is no better place in this village. I saw other gueshouse. not good expensive and bad place not clean. does not care about the guest.
