They need to renovate and clean the room properly. There is an issue of black fungus in the rooms. Also, they told us there is a private onsen but it is public. They basically lied to us when we booked.

The room is spacious and comfortable. the Wifi is responsive. The staff is helpful and the common area with the coffee and tea is very cosy. Free train station transfer is very helpful.

“Excellent stay”
Lovely relaxing stay, very helpful man who spoke good English as it was our first time in Japan. Onsen was a nice surprise. Food portions are massive for half board.

A great traditional japanese hotel. Hot baths at the hotel were very relaxing. Also the cuisine was excellent in a nice calm atmosphere. Rooms were a good size
